as i posted earlier, i asked UM's manager Micheal he said he's mechanics have gone to india for training, but i found out from some of them, nobody has gone there...Chris says' we strip n assemble the parts everyday, the mechanics know wat they r doin.." I am surely goin to report tis to CASE after i collect my sources..

Stripping and assembling the mechanical parts are no brainers actually. Get me a bike and i will be able to strip and assemble the bike within a few days.

But if it is about the relationship between each part, then it is another story.

I believe if u tell them to troubleshoot the pulsar's digital meter, none will be able to find the fault, cause they only know how to strip out the whole thing and replace with a new one.

For a mechanical machine to function at its optimal, even the torque at which the nuts and bolts are tighten is crucial. But i have never seen any mech in singapore using a torque wrench.

Maybe it is too expensive to buy one? How expensive can it get. Buying each of the mech a torque wrench will cost UM only about 2k to 3k.

if LCD meter is cheaper than um i may consider to get one.

my one is flickering non stop as i travel i realised is the PCB that is giving the problem i have tried to open the casing but it was siliconed so cant open.

but i believe it has something to do wif the rpm needle side.

Bro noleemeats,

Sorry, but i dun think there will not be much goodness out of the email u ahave shoted. Different bike, different characterisc. Different owner, different ridding pattern. Even if case is involved, there is nothin that they can do. Cause UM is transparent in their business... If we complain the part is expensive, all UM need to do is to show hand everything (cost, transportation, shipping, labour...etc) Which joker in the business worlds dun want to earn ? The onli way to solve the Spare price problem is to have more supplier. BUt even we have supply of spare which is cheap, Where can we go and fix it ?WHICH other workshop knew Puslar better than UM ? end of the day, LL, we still need to go back to UM.

Monopoly thinggy, we have nothing to say. WE knew @ first place when we first got the bike. WE knew that spare is hard to get.... ONli one place have that is UM. we knew that there is no value for our bike... BUt why we still purchase it in first place ?

I too have problem with the mech last time. I were given some LAME excuses. IMagine HOw pissed I am. My bike needs to be troubleshoot by 5 mechs and yet end of the day, i found out the problem from my own troubleshooting session.

I personally see alot of anyhow troubleshooting by U know who. But do i go around Farking them, insulting their professional ? no. I learned and make sure the same thing dun happen to me or my fellow pulsarian.

The reason we have the meetup session is to share our problem of the bike and we brainstorm to come out with a solution to solve the problem. WE try to pinpoint the actual problem rather than kenna Chop by UM.

Bro noleemeat, pardon me, I not siding with UM. But i feel that we are wasting time. instead of solving our bike's current problem, we had our attention on something less important.

agree with you.as for now. hope tat uncle rajah can help us out.

Next worries,

Who is this uncle rajah ? Where is he from ? india or indonesia ?

Is the part he supply to us is geunine ?

Does he give us up to date parts ?

How is the payment like ?

We pay first than he ship ? or he ship first than we pay ?

If we pay first, how can we ensure we recieved the parts ? Who will liase with uncle Rajah? Who will collect the money ?Or who will like to pay for us first ?

If he ship first, how can he ensure he recieved his payment promptly ? Does he ship all spares to one member or he ship individually ? Who will collect and sent all the part to individual member who have order ? Who will remittance the total amount of money to uncle rajah ?

Worst case thinking

Wat happen if we send the money and neber recieve the spare ? Wat if "Uncle rajah" disappear ? cannot contact on the phone or his email no reply?

wat we suppose to do ? complain ? make police report ? log a report to CASE

Good OUtcome

We pay and we get the spares. Who is going to install the Diaphragm ? change the brake pad ? Blar Blar Blar....

Brethen....

NOt to splash cold water... but wat the shipping cost going to be ? Wat i found out for Bajaj tank Bra ( semi cover). there is two guys who order the 2xTB from india which cost 10 buck.... end of the day they pay 50buck to get from india to singapore.... is it worth ?

I suggest we get Uncle rajah to send the spare over to singapore... TO someone HE TRUSTED AND is STAYING in SINGAPORE. from there, member can go collect their order and pay up the same time. this way, is a win win situation for both parties.

OR... get someone any of us knew which come from india to get the spare from us... meaning so... let start to be nice to indian. perhap they can help u get some spare. OR get their frenz who is coming to singapore to HAND CARRY. this way the cost will be much cheaper.
