Wow. So steady ah? Well done man! So it's true. Ssdc will help close off some parking lots and reduce number of vehicles. To really help our riders.

Cleared!! Only 3 failed. 1 went wrong route, 1 dropped off plank and 1 accumulated too many points mostly bike handling not steady.

5 day work week... You say leh? :cheeky:

Is there anyone who is currently learning class 2a at ssdc that can update on the lesson interval? Like once you enroll, when can you book your first theory lesson and practical lesson one,two and three. After you pass your lesson 3 evaluation, which date is your TP test.

I stay at pasir ris which driving centre would you recommend to pass 2a in shortest duration.

Thanks in advance

This below is for ssdc format. Not sure about other schools,

Theory is own time own target, and anyway one lesson only... You can start practical together with theory. Just make sure you complete it before passing the practical assessment.

Practical is only 2 classes. 1 & 2. Pract 3 is assessment.

So basically prac 1 is to learn, pract 2 is for you memorise the route. After that you can do circuit revision until u are comfortable with the bike. Pass prac 3 and book tp.

Latest tp dates can be found online... Usually is 4-8 weeks. Depending on the crowd during that time.... When i got my 2A i waited for 3 weeks only... Quite fortunate.

How long is the waiting time in between each lesson? like after you pass or fail lesson when is the next lesson?

Just completed 2A at SSDC. I started in Feb this year. Once enrolled, you can start booking prac 1. Note that you can only book 1 practical lesson at a time.

I only do night lessons as I'm working so for prac 1 and 2 (night which is the either 610 or 820pm) usually need to wait about 2 weeks+ for the next availability.

Prac 3 has much more slots as its the evaluation and shared lesson with the 2B riders. Usually can book the next one in a few days if you have to repeat.

For theory, just look at the timetable from SSDC's website and turn up for class, no need to book.

Once prac 3 and theory completed, you can book the TP test which is about 2-2.5 weeks later.

A tip to speed up prac 1 and 2 is to cancel your booking (but must be 3 days before to be able to cancel) then check for any slots with closer dates. If nothing, rebook your original slot. By doing this, I managed to cut down the waiting time of prac 1 and 2 to about 1-1.5 weeks.

I also stay in Pasir Ris and the reason why I go to SSDC is that when I took my 2B, my office used to be close to woodlands. Now its further but I'm used to SSDC.

Good things about SSDC is that there are 3 levels of circuits so usually the instructor will bring you to one that is not occupied and you can use it for the whole lesson, no need to share/que so can get more practice. Another good thing is that the TP test circuit is sheltered to don't have to worry about skidding in the figure 8 or slalom if it rains during the test.

Bad thing is that there will class 4 and 5 vehicles (lorries, cranes) driving around the circuit during your test so have to be more careful. Someone in my 2A test batch failed because he didn't watch out for lorry parking which takes up both lanes.

If i never take night lesson, as i will be available for the whole day so i can take either morning, afternoon or night lesson.

What is the lesson interval? Like if you pass lesson one when is your lesson 2?

And you said i can make multiple booking for lesson one? So is it like you book 2 lesson for lesson one in case you fail your first attempt so your next lesson will be 3-4 days later.

A little information about me.

Im getting enlist in 25 july and i passed my class 2b licence at 15 june 2016. So i planning to enroll for class 2A at ssdc and hope to get class 2A before i enlist. Is it possible to complete before 25july?

For TP test timing, is it only in morning? Is there TP test at night? as if i get enlisted before i take my tp test, im afraid that im unable to off to take my TP test.

You can only book 1 prac lesson at a time so once you enrol, you will only be able to book prac 1. Availability (in Feb) was around 2 weeks later then you have slot. This means that if you enrol in SSDC 2A on 15 june, most likely prac 1 lesson will be available to book around 28 June. If you pass, then can book prac 2 which is also around 2 weeks later. If you pass prac 2 then you should be able to book prac 3 which is around a few days later. Pass prac 3 then TP test should be around 2-2.5 weeks later.

I think if you want to complete by 25 July, probably have to go BBDC. I saw somewhere that someone completed it in 3 weeks earlier this year, meaning from enroll date until pass TP test date took 3 weeks in total at BBDC.

thinking of switching school from ssdc to bbdc , are the instructor in bb better ?

How come venom_666?? What happened in SSDC? If I am not wrong now SSDC test date is faster..

BBDC if you are taking class 2a/2, instructors are more "friend" with you. But of course if you ride like a new class 2b rider and keep doing many mistakes, they will still fail you and ask you back for more lessons.

Can anyone who is still learning or recently passed their class 2A around march-april update on lesson interval at SSDC? for example, if you fail your first attempt on lesson one when is your next attempt. If you pas your first attempt when is your second lesson date.

Thanks
