more used on scramblers from what i saw... (i might be wrong.. no need to point out to me...)

 

but... i dun think theres any proper mounting kit for our kind of bikes, cubs to be exact.

 

Sigmas bicycle ones would suffice actually.

tried 1 b4 few yrs back on my friend's S4, but of a different brand.

i won't not say it's 100% accurate, cos u need to input rim diameter...

& it uses magnet, u stick 1 on e side of yr rim, another near to yr front.

 

under speed of 100km/hr shouldn't be a problem, anything faster than 150hm/hr i suggest u use other method to stick rather den using double tape.

I'm planning to fix an rpm meter for my bike, anyone got any particular brand to recommend? Is it accurate? And how much does it cost? I dun really care about how it looks.. Can do something about the looks one.

Dun buy those rpm gauges for cars. They are not waterproof. And not accurate because car have more then one piston, our cub only one piston.

I am also looking for it. But if buy liao also dunno where to connect the signal wire.

Anyone can help us?

Some people say can just buy the meter and tap to the spark plug lead but they also say it's not accurate.. And the daytona digital meter is accurate but i dun think i got the $$ to pay for it.. So i'm looking for a cheap and good alternative

i am using one rpm meter that is 7 coloured, 7 modes of colour with 1 auto change multicolour. bought that from wonderful motor at 494, macpherson road but need to order as he don't keep stock.

 

accuracy difference by about 1 rpm.... meaning if suppose to be 1.5 idling, it normally reflect as abt 0.5-0.8....

 

it's analog type and 100% for bikes (4 stroke type) not for cars/...

I believe the analog kind is not accurate no matter its connected to whr.

 

Even for the voltmeter.. when on the road.. its nt accurate already only

 

when stationary.

Are you sure tap from the spark plug lead? Coz the voltage there is 10 of a thousand volts !

do u noe tat class 2b bikes 100 equals to 80 on a 2a bike..tried wit a s4 aredy..yuipp it is not accurate

tried riding my sparks135 100km/hr side by side my fren super4 his meter only shown 80km/hr like tat nia~

Hi all,

 

Problem: Honda wave digital meter all led display not illuminated.

 

The needle can move on the speedometer.

 

The fuel gauge and mileage display not working. Battery is working properly.

 

Any idea if this can be repaired? Any motordiam got this spare part?
