Yah I kenna 2 points for delay in moving off at pylon station. I saw him signal me go but I thought must wait for blinker light.

My narrow plank TP happy happy press blinker plus signal me to go..

But seriously, scoring points for that is pretty knnccb behaviour, pattern not standard somemore sometimes hard to see the signal.

Enrolled in CDC earlier this month but the slots for practical lessons are horrible. Even the circuit orientation will need to wait till mid june.

So i decided to enroll in SSDC as well. 5 days within enrolling i managed to clear the circuit orientation on the 20/5 and got to book my pract 1 for this coming wednesday morning.

Really unsure of what to expect for the practicals, any tips to clear the practicals?

Welcome to SSDC! Just relax, and do whatever the instructors say. I only went 1 lesson (next on Tues), but I'm hoping to have at least 2 lessons a week.

P.s. the helmets and guards provided are damn nasty... I'm buying my own tmr.

Actually, from my own experience, TP testers is a lot more lenient than SSDC instructor standard, and TP testers make the circuit even easier by blocking a lot of parking lots...So if you can pass SSDC internal tests you sure can pass TP, but some people stress too much about it so make mistakes and fail.

Just go for the TP and treat like a normal revision lesson...take your time to observe surroundings, do safety checks and if unsure whether tester give you signal to enter course wait for him to signal again. (Big warning: every tester got their own pattern, so do not die die not move if he use blinker light to start narrow plank just because it's not the standard for example. Anyway, the instructors will brief about this before the actual TP)

Oh, and leave half a bike length before stopping at stop line so you got time to check blind spot before turning.

Yeah thats what i feel too. I going for rc this wednesday and tp the next day! quite tensed even though i took it before. Sigh... Hope the public traffic don't screw me over.

Just failed my 1st practical 1. Couldn't make it into the outer circuit. Hopefully next lesson I will be able to.

Don't worry. Same happened for me. 2nd practical 1 I went outer circuit, and my whole group failed :( our turning not centered, stopping still not very stable.

hey guys, I'm going for L6 on Monday, hopefully can clear all lessons by June and book TP but I'm enlisting at HTA on 12th July, I got police so it's 4 months of BPT. I only can book out on friday evening and book in back on sunday. Just wanted to ask, is there any TP test on Saturday? If not what else can I do?

Hi furyx, I just enlisted into the force on 12April. You'll be 164 Fit intake just fyi. Anyway, you can go for your TP even when you are in camp. But the condition is:

1) You MUST book your TP before you enlist. They will allow you to get gate pass(which basically means you can go out of HTA during the stay in) for you to clear your TP.

2) Do not have your TP during your confinement period.

So during your first few days of enlistment, please inform your Course Manager (CM) that you have already booked TP before you enlisted and he will allow you to go for your TP.

hey mister.skudder, So you're in 163 fit intake? Hope to see you soon, although after 1 month of my enlistment you POP already.

1)I heard that the gate pass is only 4 hours right? But usually TP quite long right?

2)10-4 roger

Confirm the CM would allow me to go right? as long as I don't do stupid stuff and not make mistake and lastly would it like affect anything? such as like vocation or any award that I might have a chance at? Thanks.

Yup 163 Fit. I POP on 20th August, around 1 week after 165 Less Fit enlist.

Gate pass can be as long as you need if I'm not wrong. Especially for TP since it's like half a day thing.

During MY 2nd day of enlistment, my CM was asking if anyone got TP test that they have ALREADY booked. He said you are allowed to gate pass and take. Hence I assume he will allow. Let me confirm with my CM/FI again uh. I'll get back to you next weekend.

What do you mean by affect anything? You mean taking gate pass? Or u mean having 2B license?
