DEar brother,i had an accident once with a malaysian pick-up,he gave me his vehicle number and ask us to report to JKR,ended up a report was raised and the authorities requested our vehicle to stay in their compound for 4 days, but i cancelled the report also needed charges to pay for the cancellation, because without our vehicle how are we supposed to go back.they advice me that they will authorize the claim if the JKR aproove it if i proceed...serious i tink better u pay ur damage urself,it's will take along time for you to retrieve your car from JKR and also damages from the other party!!!

have a tailback collusion with a malaysian proton, instead of stopping or going to the side to exchange particular(singapore style)

the proton just sped off... my first reaction was to see the number plate..

went to the police station to report a hit and run case..

the process is just like make a report of a missing NRIC/Wallet.

nothing to follow up... give up the process as its very troublesome to pursue it.. just my luck

But we are talking about a commercial vehicle here.

Surely it has some sort of insurance covered bought by the company to operate in Singapore?

I think LTA must do something about this.

Coz if not, might as well I got Malaysia and bang other vehicles using a false plate and run away.
