sucks man. I grinded it flat within 1 month n I meant really flat, there was no brake compound left at all!

 

I bought this sbs pad from firesplitter for $25 bucks and I must say itz pretty darn sweet, still running good. Mr Jeff from Mah wanted to trade it with some other weird alternative. I guess I look too good a carrot head to be chopped for

 

My bandits back. Main problem is still not solved yet and the leaking is pretty bad but sadly I'm dead broke after the cdi change.

1) I still hear the whistling/vibration after 4.5k rpm and

2) the right cover (clutch cover and plug?) is still leaking

 

I know that I have to do the chain and sproket first but man itz a bomb too! $300 bucks

 

I hope to meet up wif most of u soon though. I miss coming late

the leaking probably due to the gasket.... gaskets are cheap...bout 40+

it's the engine oil that u're replacing that's expensive... coz to change the gasket, the engine oil normally also change... labour might be alittle high too... a good way will be to change the engine oil to semi-synthetic oil... that prob reduce ur cost by alot...

Thx for the info abt the gasket. I think the engine oil's gonna cost a bomb thx to guan hoe's pricing of parts but I'll be using my own so i hope they dunt mind. Right now I'm running on semi-synthetic stuff but that may be the source of some of my problems coz i chose a 20w-50 castrol semi/mineral mix.

 

for the older bandit riders, do u guys know how much the headlamp bulb cost? mine just died on me!
