Hey guys..i went to J.b last Mon to get my fork n bearings done.Went to AMAHA,told him i wanted to change my fork oil and front wheel bearing, the meck now said Rm40 for the fork.(was told Rm50 last week),firstly, the way the handled my bike was terrible, any screw also wack anyhow, the mech dismantled my handlebar,in this process,he left a few deep scratch on my Fuel tank!!After taking out the fork,he pour out the oil n took out the spring and wash wit petrol abit n the fill my fork wit 80ml of fork oil n 20ml engine oil each!!!Wat the FU$K!!At tis point i'm very unhappy, the wack my wheel till cialat2 to take out the bearing, when i gave them the bearing i got from K.S,they told me its the wrong one,i checked and found the bearing form K.S is smaller the Used one!!the mech said tat he has stock of the bearings, offered me Rm35 for a normal one and Rm45 for a "high speed bearing".Wat a rip off!Taking advantage for the fact tat i cant use the old bearing again.End up having the normal one.Fix everyting n i left the bikeshop in heartpain..Damn!Total damage Rm70(discounted)

Now,the fork worsen than before n front wheel wobble alot more!!!

Will be getting it done in Sg soon..anyone knows how much GH charge for fork svc n frt bearing?or any recomendations?

And is it possible to Hav the Bearing changed at K.S?i've got no receipt.

Terrible experience.

Can try go back to KS and tell the boss (sitting behind the desk) that his stuff gave you the wrong part and ask for refund if not try exchange for spark plugs or oil filter.

I did my fork oil seal change and fork oil change at "Seng Motor Hung" Universal's workshop at Alexandra. Good service and workmanship, $20 per fork, I bring my own fork oil and seal. Or you can try planet motor, very good comment from many forumer. , price wise I'm not sure.

The fork oil seal only $8 per fork(KS), Putoline medium fork oil $7 (LAB), plus $20 workmanship per fork (Seng Motor Hung)

All in all $35 per fork, 2 forks only $70.

The other time I spent $98 for fork servicing becasue I change dust cover and metal clips too. I guess the price which the other guys quote is without dust cover and metal clip change.

not sure if there is a simpler way. But the way tht crossed by mind is to put a mini circuit with IC chip(N gate)which is lights up the led when circuit is broken(head light off) not sure if the led can make blinking one or not.
