Guys, went to check out the water temp gauges, alot of brands now so will stick to the more faithful autogauge or prosport, but kind of like the prosport one better, so how, anyone here keen to know how hot their bandits run?

Cheers!

I am keen to get one, anyway, I was doing the research, the water temperature guage will get it's reading from a sensor mounted onto your water hose, and it is read out on one of those 2 inch guages. Rojoanna, you keen?

Cheers!

ok..so now my bike is finally out of the shop. the speedo works fine. there are different ways to install the temp gauge. mine wise, i removed my old thermostat and replaced it with the temp sensor provided. if not u could cut ur water hose and put the plastic connector provided (the temp sensor is inside) between the two hoses and clamp them(provided too). speed and distance goes by a magnetic sensor mounted on the front brake disc. only worry is that it gets stolen. so remember to get the protector bracket also~!

right now, my bike is experiencing some very odd behaviour. whenever i start up the bike after an hour or so, the bike cannot remain at idle. however after a few minutes of warm up, the bike can idle properly. choke's disengaged.

also, when moving off from start, if i do not rev the bike up to ~4k rpm and release the clutch, the bike will move abit and die off. anyone experienced this kinda thing b4? mech told me that its because of

1. the clutch plates sticking together

2. the first gear's kinda wore out(something wrong with it la)

other gears work fine by the way.

note, my fuelcock is currently turned to prime(fuel keeps flowing) instead of on or res(this need the vacumn hose to work). i cant use the on or res because my fuel **** vacumn diaphragm is spoilt.(if i attach the vacumn hose(from the carb) and turn it to on or res, the carb will be flooded and become airlocked=cant start/run) Will this affect the bike in aniway since the vacumn hose is not in use?

hope u guys can help. thanks

haha...let the mods begin then...

I think functionality vs cost this is a gd deal i have seen so far comparing with other gadgets i have seen but those are custom for my bike thts the thing.

But its definatly a gd mod for Bandit n Impulse riders.
