It's not because we are serious people. But the way you talk about your bike being a 'bandit killer' in a specific forum where most of the riders here are bandit riders. That will not go down well with us. At least we don't call your bike names. Ride what you ride and live free, mate. Big or small bike, i think riding is a lifestyle for us. Not to be used for being a poseur or to up over somebody's bike.

A bike represent a person. Some people buy older bike not because they cannot afford a bigger and newer bike, it's just they cannot find that x-factor that the individual is looking for. It all depends on the rider.

 

Anyway most bandits are already more than 10 yrs liao. I think there are a lot of bikes on the road that can "kill" a bandit. If a R6 cannot "kill" a bandit, I think that rider should consider riding a bicycle instaed.

 

Please pick on another 600, that is if you have the Balls.

Lol but that doesn't mean there would be few bandit 600s because of few bandit 400s. For example the super4 CB400 (They are everywhere) and CB1000?

hi there. Recently i met a nice malay chap who was riding the 2006 Bandit 650s with full powerbronze fairing kit, and an aftermarket slip-on. The bike looks great and i thought for a second it was the Bandit 1250.

 

Basically, the Bandit series 650/1200 looks alike. Even the all new 1250s looks the same except the engine has been transformed from air/oil cooled to liquid cooled.

 

According to reviews from Bandit 1250s forumers, its a great bike except the TPS intends to go off and needs to be readjusted frequently and there's a surging problem during cruising speed at 3500 rpm. Other than that, it's a beast and has a lot of torque in the low/mid range. The Bandit will only be brought in by early next year. Hopefully the price is just as good as the ones been sold in the UK/US/AUS.

Is it going to be brought in by G.H or parallel import? Hope they bring in the 650 and the 1250. I'm hoping to get a brand new suzuki next year. Currently have my eyes set on GSR 600. Went to check out on the Vstrom 650, out of my budget. If got bandit 650, will have one more choice liao.

I'm seriously not sure about the 650s though but the 1250 will be in and equipped with ABS as standard by G.H.

Because sports bike riders (Yes you the one looking at this thread) especially those riding *cough* R6 *cough* red & white *Ahem* hao lian their bike is so fast can go 0-250km/h faster than bandit 400, sound more fierce, has hazard lights, think they are so cool on their racy machines. Because their bike is fast they have to ride fast which they think makes them look 'sud'.

 

(For all sports bike riders out there this is just a silly thread-resurrection excercise. It is merely for fun, no pun intended to anyone. We respect all riders despite the bike you ride.)
