But I'm still quite impressed that he can tell the difference between a Triumph from the other makes, and a Street Triple from a Speed Triple at 140km/h.

 

 

BTW, I just checked the LTA website. The Triumph population in Singapore increased from 99 in 2007 to 126 in 2008. Which means 27 new Triumphs went OTR in 2008. The number is growing ..

Iconic bug eyes = Speed or Street triple

Roulette Green = Street triple

 

I was in a black Ford Focus Hatchback. Saw you coming from a long way back in my rear mirror. Moved over to let you pass and to confirm that it was a street triple.

 

Our BMW friend seems a little miffed I did not notice his Beemer with the bright yellow rear. I wonder why I did not see him. I guess he was going way too fast for me.

Saw a white Speed Tripple heading to ECP down Bedok S Ave 2 this morning at about 07:30, pretty sure it was the Speed as no nose cowl, rider wearing cammo jacket?

Speed Triple has a flyscreen too. Just that it is has more pointed edges, making it look like a speed devil.

I am not miffed. Yohji's shiny bike is definitely more attention grabbing than my old and battered war-horse. Looks like I have to paint my steed's rear lime green.
