Hi hi...Bros of Darkside...For the NBW, there's 2 options...Option #1 - ride over on Friday evening and get our bikes washed by them sexy bike wash girls and then we enjoy the event on a cool Friday evening....or.....Option #2 - ride over on Saturday evening and just enjoy the event on a cool Saturday evening....

 

If you notice, i didn't put in the afternoon National Convoy coz, most of the riders that always ride with me are No.1 Working, No.2 Available after 6pm and No.3 Prefer to ride in the cool evening weather....So do let me know which option is best for you, my Darkside Bros...

wow...its been ages since i last posted here.. been really neglecting this thread... but it seems like the modding scene has quietened down somewhat? economic downturn? hahah.. anyway.. jus wanna upload some pics to let u all know i;m still alive and modding in some dark backstreet alley..wahahahha..

wahh.. thanks for all the replies.. hahaha.. yeah now i have brakes on. terible one hows yor steed comnig along? doing any major body work?

 

No money at the moment.. Dun think there'll be any major work done so soon.. Most prob shorten rear fender, relocate tail light under it.. I got a spare tank now, need to de-rust it first if i wanna do anything to it.. but I still like those Lau-K type of tank,slim looking type.. I think it'll be possible to just it it sit on top of the frame's twin top tube and attach it somehow, so it looks higher.. Sarn those twon TT, so hard to find replacement tank.. Cos I wanna put clip ons bars from sportbikes on my bike, need tank clearance.. But den again those uses 1 inch controls, need to spend money to replace again.. Front brake pump have to change also..

 

Anyone riding with hardtail here? Is it safe? How's the handling like? I might wanna consider replacing the rear shock with a solid metal rod.. But if I can know the spec for the stock shock maybe I can just source for a shorter aftermarket part..

no problem. i'm trying to work out something new for my vmax. i too understand i'm falling into the very predictable trend with my past builds. been trying to get alot of feedback everytime i unveil a new bike so i can get pointers. even i got sick of the industrial decay look, as for the bobber phase, its not as challenging as before for me now...thats why i've been out for so long... lol....

 

thanks for your support bro. seriously. few got guts to say what they really feel. you are definately not sprouting nonsense and i'm not one bit offended. rest assured haha.

 

keep this thread in check. gimme your opinions again when u see my next project.
