personally i trust my mechanic alot cause he does really a good job in maintaining my RxZ, he does a full service for $65

Others might think expensive, but to me its worth lor, he take out the whole piston block etc and clear everything.

Garfield, I'm curious, where do you service your bike and who is your mech?

 

By default, idling will never go lower than 1000rpm. It's always around 1,200rpm +-.

 

The normal riding temperature range is 74dc to 106dc btw. When at the traffic lights, no choice, have to idle and watch the temperature climb.

 

There is no significant change from 04 to 05, only color change.

 

The Honda directive is to change the coil and flywheel if the coil is burnt.

Dude I sincerely hope that your mechanic get the facts right about blades before giving such instructions

He probably not sure about blades at all nor he understand about big bikes

Honestly speaking it's not difficult to service an RXZ

Most DIY bikers are able to do it with their eyes closed

wow impressive.. Blades as far as the eyes can see. Looks like every blade in town turned up. I counted half a million dollars of worth of bikes in the pics... not including aftermarket parts.

They took my set of flywheel & coil for further inveztigation & claim since mine was the 1zt problematic case since the combo ,...

Manage to get another 6 monthz warranty,...

1st sign of trouble was at 2nd tuas, coming back homez after the meet upz,...

Felt something was outz,...

Bike felt a bit weaker & voltage was low,...

Didnot even dare to go outz on Sun to meet u guyz,...

Paiseh2,...

 

When to BS 1st thing on Monday morningz with a heavy heart,...

Got thiz happy news frm Andrew at about 10.25,...

Urz is the 1zt case coil got burnt since changing both the flywheel & coilz,...

Waaaah,....

Don't know wheather to feel happy or sad,...

Even though itz free,...

Wasted my time there man,...

i'm the unluckiest one .. the 1st coil change, was 2 months after warranty ended ..

the 2nd change today, was also about 2months after the warranty ended ..

 

i nvr go BS .. no difference to me anyway ..

 

btw.. i was at motorworld and saw 2 blade and a G1 ... looks like some accident on track??

belong to anyone here? 1 arrow, 1 akra ..

Tashi & me just said last wk,so far so gd with the combo thing coz nobody reported any coil burn issues yet.Maybe Honda solved the problem once & for all.But now i have my doubts again.This was the main reason i sold my bike.
