Honda cannot issue a recall yet since they do not know whether the flywheel and coil combo will fix the issue. If that doesn't fix the problem, then the recall will be useless.

I just spoke to a secretive person on the coil issue. Honda may be finally on to something. I've been putting some pressure on them again after Saufi first told me about his suspicions last Sat. Let's wait and see. I can say for sure, they are definitely working on a solution.

I'm expecting low resale value of the 1000rr becoz of the coil problem.Luckily,me & Ronald decided to trade it before it falls further. When words spread about the coil issue, who wants to take a bike that even Honda after 3 yrs still couldn't find whats the problem with it :sian:

My bike is still at the shop waiting for customers.Only my pipe had been sold off :help:

I wish I could say, it's a secret for now. :cheeky:

But LDH & LD, not to disappoint you or everyone, I will unveil a secret.

Those who had received an SMS from me today about a secret launch of a new bike in a secret location, this is none other than the sexy Ducati 1098!!! Woohoo.

Since it's pass my bedtime, I'll post 1 pic for now.

This is a pic of the new super efficient, high flow, high volume, ram air intake. Unprecedented I must say.

Beagle, sorry to say, I sat on it before you. :cheeky:

Con rod? Whats your mileage? Dun think its the con-rod. High chances are its time for the valve clearance. Or you can also change the cam chain tensioner if its already bad

Whats the secret? my guess.. Honda will be releasing a V5 CBR to replace the current model in 2008. Current owners of the blade with coil problems will get to trade in their Blade for the new bike. Its Onda's way to say we are sorry.

If that happens, then I will regret the day I booked the 07R1. seesh..

:p

According to the February 2007 issue of Bike! (UK motorcycle magazine) the V5 engine has got the stuff that would make many wanna rob a bank to get it. But they did mention that Honda might not release it for production.

So if the rumours are really true that Honda will release the next generation sports bike with this engine (which does make sound commercial sense to me), I believe that Yamaha and Suzuki will find that their flagship litre class sports bike production might feel heavy pressure to give healthy bottom line for their shareholders.

In any case, more power to the comsumers!

Out of 20 ++ shops I went yesterday, only 1 had stocks of the digi volt. The digits look size-ablely ok, only that is is bordered with a plastic cover which makes its overall size about similair to that of an average name card (a bit big if you were to mount it on the bike). And the only flaw is the rear wiring is not covered so if it rains, your electricals might go kaput. Still sourcing out for a good one as some of the shops open only during business hours. Will share my findings when I've done the job.

If this is ram air, would you guys like to see the exhaust system?
