Arrow loses out to stock at the bottom end according to the graph I posted some time back. Can't remember the model for the Yoshi.

 

RC, I think it's better if you visit the manufacturer's website and check on each s/o you want to get. Most of us after buying the pipe, forgot all these nitty gritty details already.

 

Things to consider are price, sound, build quality, performance and LTA compliance. Or if you're free, join us this Sat 8pm at GP Esso, you can see all types of pipes, Arrow, Yoshi, Remus, Leo Vince and GPR.

I have 4 more days to clear before March, it’s probably gonna spill over to April. I’m taking 29 to 30 Mar and 2 to 3 Apr off.

 

Planning to head down to KL on Fri, Ipoh & Cameron and back to KL on Sat, back to SG on Sun or Mon. You guys can head down on Sat if you don’t want to take so many off days. Then there’s Good Friday on 6 Apr as well. Most probably will ride somewhere as well.

Today I went around with Beagle to get some parts to service my bike. We were en route to FJT. There's an interesting product and funny story to share with you guys.

 

FJT sells this battery for the bikes from Taiwan, Shinco brand with an interesting feature that is useful for Bladers. Read on.

 

Tashi: Ey Ah Beng, don't park your car in front of FJT please.

Beagle: Why leh?

Tashi: Later when they see your nice car, sure charge me $13 for my oil filter.

Beagle: What is the usual price?

Tashi: $12. Ok, park here can already.

Beagle: Ok.

Tashi: Aiyah, have to walk so far, park further a bit la.

Beagle: Then you asked me to park here? (Drives pass FJT)

Tashi: Alamak, that FJT guy saw me already, sure charge me $13 for the oil filter.

 

Beagle parks car and both walks to FJT.

 

Tashi: Can I have an oil filter and rear brake pad for the 1000RR please.

FJT: What year model?

Tashi: 06.

Beagle: Ey, ask for me battery how much, my bike cannot start.

Tashi: How much is the original battery for 05 Blade?

FJT: Original rear brake pad no more, have to wait till middle of the month. Try this Shinco battery from Taiwan, not bad. When the battery is low, the battery beeps, light also come out.

Tashi: (Looks at Beagle) Ey, not bad what, you always never ride your bike, if the battery dies on you, at least your backside will beep. (Looks at FJT guy) How much?

FJT: $50.

Tashi: Not bad, ok, I'll take it. Total how much?

FJT: $63.

Tashi: Ey hello! You always charge me $12 for the oil filter, how come today charge $13?

FJT: Ok la ok la, $12. Ey, how ah your coil? Burn or not? 04 model kena, 05 model kena, 06 model also kena.

Beagle: Mine never burn.

Tashi: Of course la, you never ride your bike.

FJT: Wah, this one guy damn good, you heard or not? His coil burn, he shoot one letter, they send him a new coil.

Tashi: (Smiles to himself and keeps quiet.)

Beagle: (How come this story sound so familiar?)

FJT: I heard his gang all ride FireBlade. Everytime something wrong, he shoot one letter, and they send him new part. The coil also send back for inspection. 3 times already.

Tashi: (Thinks to himself, got 3 times so jialat meh?)

Beagle: Ey Tashi, it's you la. No wonder story so familiar. (Looks at FJT guy) It's him, you're talking to him.

Heheh... Funny story.. You're buying OEM brake pads? Wonder why you're not looking for aftermarket ones.. FJt stock the normal Gold Fren but the shop beside Weda stocks Gold Fren S3 Racing which is a bit betta.

 

 

For the record, I did work for FJT sometime back. The price of goods, actually depends on how good the boss' mood is...
