Hi guys, juz gotten a 05 and went looking for headlight protectors. Unfortunately, Regina and Biketech both don't have stock. Where else can I enquire from? First time on a sports bike so not too familiar with the shops. Thanx!

Or if you like something that is non protruding, with the barely there look, something that thieves don't look for, go for the film types. They serve the purpose and are easy to clean.

I have that on my headlights, from Tankslapper. Soft plastic film that sticks over the headlights, does the job for debris that isnt too large, good enough. Cant even tell that its there after its stuck on. Super.

One more newbie question guys, what kind of single seats are available in SG? I kinda like the OEM HRC one so if the shops you guys recommend doesn't have nice ones I'll grab the HRC seat cowl. Thanx again!

Last night was a bad night. 7 bikes went to a new place for makan in JB town, only 6 bikes came back ... one got stolen. We went to this place called Tree House.

 

Burger / satay guy said he saw a Super4 with 2 guys coming, one of them took out a key, put it into one of the Blades, started the bike and rode off, seemingly rendering the HISS useless.

 

Thinking back, the story seems unbelievable, we could've heard the bike since it's got a loud pipe. And when I went to speak to him the 1st time, he had his back on me as if he knew what happened and was deliberately avoiding a conversation.

 

Torque's bike had an alarm, it went off as soon as we went into the restaurant, but when he came out, no one was around the bike. He parked his bike so close to mine, if anyone had wanted to steal my bike, they had to move Torque's bike 1st. When he parked his bike close to mine, I had wanted to ask him to park further, lucky I didn't, if not mine would've been an easy target as well.

 

If anyone wants to eat there in the future, be very careful.

The Tree House is near Woodlands checkpoint, some residential area on a hill top.

 

The bikes were parked at a rough pebbly broken road near the entrance of the car park. The entrance is wide enough for 1 car to pass through only, and the satay / burger stall is just inside, next to the entrance of the car park.

 

Made police report in JB also took more than an hour.

Went around shopping for new bike today. Finally got a good deal for my bike.

 

Will most probably get the new CBR600RR7. It looks sweet and reviews are great. Pending approval from Finance Minister.

 

Damn I'm a real sucker for Honda even after the 1000RR coil problems. Hope they don't let me down anymore.

Hi guys... i m the unfortunate guy who came back without the bike on sat nite

never expect that nite was the last nite of my riding days..

 

Somehow might be a blessing in disguise for me as i already plan to let go the bike for some time but can't bear to let go.. now it's really gone...

 

Biggest regret is that i was not able to join u guys for the great trips with great twisties which u all had the last time

 

But anyway, the best part during my Fireblade riding days is to get to know you all the fantastic guys and ladies

too much to name them..

Will try to join you guys next time if you all don't mind my slow 4 wheeler
