Michelin has launched a campaign to recall its Pilot Power 2CT and Pilot Power 120/70 ZR 17 front motorcycle tyres with “Made in France” markings. An examination of these tyres showed a possible defect in the tread due to a manufacturing irregularity. No cases of pressure loss have been reported and no accidents have occurred.

Because customer safety is its primary concern, Michelin has decided as a precaution to replace certain 120/70 ZR 17 Michelin Pilot Power 2CT and Michelin Pilot Power front tyres, which can be identified by the following markings on the sidewall:

 

a “Made in France” label

DOT 6UCW 980T or DOT 6UCW 979T

Pilot Power: week numbers 2704 to 0406 inclusive

Pilot Power 2CT: week numbers 4505 to 1807 inclusive

These tyres will no longer be sold by dealers.

Agreed. but Y in 1ltr big boys cbr1000rr they will never produce bike like the gixxer or the ninja, among all the jap bike honda had the lower H.P except for their 600cc they ar king of the superstoct racing.

Yup..I shared info with him. He's the Jap guy I'm refering above. He refered me to Sporting M. I knew he can get HRC parts..but I can source the parts myself juz need the mechanical know how and experience to build the engine. I'm afraid the labour cost may be too much..

Tell me something, do you really utilize fully the HP given by the blade?

Can you really handle such horsepower and push to their limit?

Given a standard blade with 154 HP at the backwheel is more than enough for end users like us

Whats the point having higher horsepower without even being able to control it?

Honda have their own vision they set the standard and care for their customers

All along they never gave the highest horsepower but they gave practicality to all their bikes and bullet proof engines

What more could you ask for?

Overall rating I Honda always gets top spot

Others would only win horsepower and maybe better designs

If now you let me ride motogp bike and push as i push my bike, I'll say hell no but if I gonna ride it day by day push it 1 stages to another stages may be i can master like other motogp rider. Btw bro I'm push my bike to the limit in P.G. Street ride I'm Mr Magoo.

They only gave enough horse to meet the standards

They see things more in general friendly to the street yet up to standard if you are using it for trackdays

For the more hardcore riders on the track there is HRC parts for you to buy

You do not have to modify nor use your bike as a guinea pig like the old days

All the parts are readily available only money matters these days

U see bro eldo46, tat wat i been thinkin. Honda had HRC for racing which is very x but Honda 600rr need not need the HRC cause it's already race ready or superstock, other production they're race ready only few thing to mod. I 100% agreed with u, Honda can produce 1krr production race ready bike like other but tat not their's vision in sale, "U want it we had it, HRC":lol: they're more on friendly and safety user with racing design. Actually I already know all this, because I ride in P.G other production stock bike much more powerful then mine only cornering Honda is on my favour. I'd plan to change to 600rr08 may be next year or 09, I'm die hard of Honda till (this coil issue make me sick ).

Ya la. Don't worry bro I use all mean to inform Jap Honda bout the 1krr08 exhaust and I'll share with those jap on my point of view or design bout the exhaust. Before i contact them, what do think if the exhaust replace to exhaust BULUH sure power in Hp and sound but don't forget to inform orang kampung to bring down the bike next day. :cheeky:
