Did walk pass the bike. The right side scratched quite badly. Until now bike still there - what happened to the owner? I thought the bike kanna stolen and abandoned.

 

I find quite strange cos the bike parked on grass and not on the pavement.

From what i recalled, the owner was a plum guy. but he sold his bike last year at Mah Motor Pte. Ltd. Not sure who is the new owner now, and it comes with a new paint work as compared to the original one.

Kinda no suprise of what the fault is,...

Coil burnt again,...

Had a new set changed,...

Kinda lazy now to ask what type of coil & flywheel they had inztalled,...

Lucky went 4 the combo upon advice & got warranty,...

So it was free,...

Hahahaaaa,....

But wasted my leave,...

last night went to PS to catch movies.You know there's a small runabout before entering the carpark, right in front of the taxi stand.Was stopping to give cars that have right of way when suddenly this stupid idiot rammed his car into my rear..my pillion was thrown off the bike.

 

the whole of the rear of the bike was gone..and worst , my pipe is damaged..

the guy wanted to settle using his insurance? any advice?

You just need his plate number & name & I/C I think. Since he ask to settle using his insurance, better do it quickly..in case he changes his mind. And oh. Ask your bike-shop get an Arrow Pipe ley

dat place is famed for these kind of accident...

when i was with my previous ride,

once while slowing down to give way,

i was brushed by a car, whom i believed cant brake on time so he

swerved to the right. he end up brushing my exhaust and right feet. lucky i was wearing boots, and could control the bike and stop. i got down and he just drove off.... like **** rite? lucky no damages but the exhaust had tyre marks.......form back to front

2005 CBR1k, 7500km mileage, purchased in Feb from Bike Production but its a BS bike.

 

And here's what I experienced...

Two days ago, it was starting to take more cranks to start up the engine. Rode home from school yesterday afternoon and upon reaching home, decided to test the battery. However the bike didn't start and the cranking got weaker and weaker. Battery must be flat right? Measured it with multimeter, showed 12.5v only.

 

Took out charger and put the batt to charge for an hour or so. Multimeter showed 14.5v or there abouts. Cranked it and it started up fine. Revved up the bike a couple of times but multimeter didn't show any increase in voltage @ all. Coil burnt right?

 

If so, BUMMER MAN!!!

 

How should I go abt getting a warranty from BS? Do I have to call them up first to inform them? Or juz ride over and tell them abt it? What abt costs and parts? What kinda figure am I looking @ and what parts will need to be replaced? Thanx a lot guys!

Combo waz the change of both the flywheel & coil which cozted me bout $800+ lazt year,...

Since then had already claim bout 3 set of coil & flywheel frm them free of charge,...

Should also take pictures if you can, that way, you can use as evidence, or at least use your phone to record the conversation that he admits he is at fault.

Good morning everyone..........

anyway i finally fixed RevTec last night after having it for 3 days.

Installation was easy but finding a suitable place

to store the blue box was a bit leceh as our compartment is already limited for tools and other crap.

 

followed the instruction to on the bike and leave it on for 5 min.

after that i noticed that temperature didnt go up as fast as usual.

pick up was smooth & superb and the bike doest feels lazy.....

just twist the throttle a bit can fell the eagerness of the bike to "go".

i think its a good product, after trying it for myself.

been asking people and they've been telling me all sort of wonders

cant wait to try it across the border....

but my passport is not ready yet

For pipes, can change, cos original pipe is more ex then aftermarket pipe. Insurance ppl wants to save money.

 

I remembered my 954 pipe was nicked at the side with a small hardly noticeable (to anybody but me) dent. Insurance guy refused to have my whole pipe replaced. He said can sand / file it, nobody can see. That was when he incurred my wrath. To cut an interesting story short, it was replaced. Because Honda doesn't just make the muffler bit, they had to buy the whole pipe, cost around S$1300 plus I think. They will just pay the shop the money to have your bike fixed, you can tell your shop what parts you want.
