You want to go Happy ? That one must ask Dino. He is the PRO. KL not in favour cause of the theft rate. You should know the pain . It either,

 

1) Genting - Go there showhand.

2) Betong (Thailand) - nothing there. Just for cool weather and endless supply of chicken rice. Don't even have proper shipping mall. But it is nearer than Hatyai, around 700km on way distance.

3) Hatyai - Self explainable.

4) Cameroon - Eat strawberry

 

As for hotel in Thailand, I usually just go there and find. Plenty of hotel to choose from anyway.

Yeah, me confirm going malaysia. 5 days/4 night. Thurs to mon. has been 3 years since my last serious trip. That time on a more comfy ride. My plan is agressive but may not stick to it if I can't take it. This blade is one stiff ride. So far no firm commitment from fellow riders. Some viffers keen to go also.

 

I will be staying 2 night KL to do some shopping. Not sure about safety. Should be OK to park bike in front of lobby with 24 hours hotel staff overseeing the place. Disk lock. Maybe chain to something.

I supposed the ECU is the most expensive part. But I will suggest swap with a good ECU to test first before jumping into conclusion that the ECU is spoilt.

Kinwei is right... I doubt the ECU is affected since your tank cover is not even damaged..... even if the ECU is indeed damaged, get a 2nd hand from ebay........All the rest of the parts u should be able to purchase from ebay as well and it should be cheaper than what he quoted u...... good luck......

Malaysia also sian leh.. hahaha, super indecisive me. That why I thought of Genting or Cameron. Actually I thought of going Fraiser hill cause I never been there before. But Fraiser hill and Cameron is really like going up mountain become monk for a few days. If go Genting, the hotel is really going to be a big headache cause need to find one with good security and most important, VANCANCY. Think many Singaporean going there to celebrate National Day.
