Hm mine runs into reserve abt 13.7L mark though.. thought we got 17.7 so that leaves us with 4L of reserve right? lol important info to know how much u can travel with ur reserve

Of course. Bike was shipped out from warehouse on Fri. Today is too short a time to do anything. Mon I will personally supervise the unboxing and have booked Stan to put the Raceshield on before it leaves the shop.

 

Yours is a BS bike too?

RR8 to RRA holds 17.4L to be exact.

 

RR4 to RR7 holds 17.7L to be exact.

 

I know because I feel it is important too, my measurement was so accurate, I ran out of fuel just after I went uphill to Pagoh, engine died, and the bike was just rolling to the Esso station without me pushing the bike.

 

Then when I filled up on the RR6, it was 17.7L to full tank.

 

I challenge anyone to beat that. Lol.

Dun think so .. its only in 1 mths time .. Shld be 2010 model.. There isnt any news on the 2011 model at all mah.... sekali come out 2011 CBR1000RR with V4....... Then I heart pain.

 

Tashi: Wah you get Stan to personally do the Raceshield for you ah? I also interested to do up.. Ard $400 correct?

Yep, Stan's doing for me. I can't really remember the original price cos I tailored a lot more pieces for extra protection, so it's $741 for me.

Another point to note for me then lol.. 400ml of petrol is enough to travel another 6 to 7km at least..

Think most ppl just replace the EO earlier than usual =X

or go boon siew for a replacement on the rings?

everything seems pretty normal just that when i check the dipstick it's even lower than a quater, guess im really unlucky, went boon siew and asked and one of the mech just said pour extra e.o more than usual in it.

Check 1000rr.net, they have talked about it long time ago, and I think the victim also got a replacement.
