2 ^ 128 = 340,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000

that's the number of possible combinations of a 128 bit AES key.

so anybody trying to use brute force to hack it will possibly need to try that many keys to find the correct one.

it's like trying that number of keys to the door of a house containing ur stuff.

To put it in perspective, if you have that much money, you can spend a billion dollars a sec, 24 hrs a day till you die and still have ... a lot of money! :cheer:

Can't join you guys this weekend, Raptor, me and the rock band will be going to check out fast cars, fast food and fast women in KL! :cheeky:

How true, Tashi. Sadly how true.

Too many women and not enough time when you are in KL.

Ken...... you will be in my thoughts. Wishing you were with us.

How was the Friday outing?

Was stuck at the causeway for 45 mins on Friday evening.

On the NS Hwy, a trailer overturned, the container totally blocked off 2 lanes, causing a massive jam around Malacca. The jam was around 10km long when we were passing Malacca. Traffic from the other side had to be diverted to our side of the road.

An enjoyable trip overall.

Our fuel tank holds 17.6L of petrol, not 18L as in spec sheet.

How I found this out is amazing. On the way back from KL this morning, I dropped by Malacca for chicken rice. Left Malacca without refueling. Was trying to get rid of whatever traces of V Power I had on the Blade. Causes too much vibration, not good on the hands when you're touring.

Reserve light came on at 202 km. Just a week ago, it came on at 201 km, according to my calculation then, I'll run dry at 259km.

The sign says another 50km to Pagoh @ when I hit about 203km (or somethiing close) I knew I was pushing my luck. My calculation always fell short by 6km to 9km, factoring that in, I'll run dry at 250km to 253km, and Pagoh was clocked at another 253km or so away.

When I hit 240km, I thought, "fook, is that Pagoh exit or Pagoh R&R where Mobil 1 is?" It'll be a nightmare to push the bike up the slope, my pillion would skin me alive if we had to push the bike under the hot sun.

This calls for austere measures. Slowed down to 130km/h, signalled to pillion to crouch low to reduce air friction, taking the shortest line for every corner to reduce distance (I felt like Rossi again).

I hit 250km when I saw another sign the reads "Pagoh R&R 5km". I know when I hit 250km, the engine would die any moment. Left hand standing by to cluth in. Pushing the bike for another 5km is no joke. 253km, engine still growling, Pagoh R&R was in sight. When I was going up the slope I was so relieved.

Just when I was passing by the food stalls, going downhill, the engine died. I was completely dry! I couldn't help but burst out laughing! What luck! Gravity did the rest and I glided to the petrol station.

My air filter was given a thorough cleaning, so more air flow, lower mileage. 201km to 202km is consistent to what I was getting when I first fitted the K&N. When it's slightly seasoned, I should hit 212km to 214km again.

Esso / Mobil gives the smoothest engine response on the FireBlade. Vibration on the handle bars are greatly reduced compared to other petrols.

Bladers and owners of any other bikes able to discern?

Only remembered to bring my camera on Sun night, Sat night had to rely on my K700. However, I have switched from a G5 iMac to a Mac mini, without BT, cannot transfer pix.

Renault Telefonica @ Thai club, where Raptor spent most of his time. I guess we can say this is the F1 equivalent of Jerry's RR4.

Wahahaha, I really dunno what to say about this pic.

I invite you all to post your own wise ass remarks.

Looks to me Raptor is trying to sell his ass at Thai Club to buy more beer. Some more the way he bent over macham feminine.

It was a quiet night when Raptor was soliciting customers.

The way he stood, more stylo than me, like male model.

but compare R7 to others of the same category , i like the NR750 . :lovestruck:

I was so crazy about this bike. The current Blade's styling is a reminiscence of the NR750 isn't it?

Air scoops at the rear and centre-up exhaust. :lovestruck:

SP2, different petrols give you different response on different engines.

I wouldn't say Petronas is not suitable. All petrols are in fact ok, but I am very in tune with my bike, if it misbehaves, I would know. I just find the handle bars vibrate lesser and I get more mileage with Esso F1.

Mileage figures below. That is when I have not put on the K&N air filter. I'm using stock exhaust. Nothing is modded except for my K&N air filter.

V Power = 19x km

Petronas = 21x km

Esso F1 = 23x km

or

14.x km/l (M'sia V-Power)

15.x km/l (Petronas)

16.x km/l (M'sia Esso F1)

When I used to drive a V6 engined car, Esso also gave me more mileage.

For R1, you can check with Speedpass, for ZX10, you can check with Raptor, K4 you can check with RickTM.

SP2, go to this page for pic and sound of Micron exhaust. However, the pipe is not really centered after fitting.

For sound of Yoshi, join us for outing, you can hear for yourself.

For Arata, I think a sales guy @ Mah has it. Can't remember if that was Arata or Akra. I've seen the Akra website, hp figures dun increase much with a slipon.

Alright... its a field day.

Rate my ass on a scale of 1 to 10. Remember though, chilly's butt is the benchmark, his is rated at 10 according to some veteran butt watchers here.

Anyway, Tashi stole this shot as I was looking at the Brembo brake calipers on this car. It had chopped carbon fibre disks and OZ racing rims.

I couldn't sell my ass in the Thai Club, too many better specimens around.

Ahhhh... KL. Too many women, even more women wannabes and not enough time.

And the best thing to do was to wake up early in the morning and come down and sit down with the carpark watchman and have a morning chat. You be surprised how much one can learn about the hotel and its clients.

Boy........ the amount of 'things' going on in that hotel.. very interesting 'things' to see trying to sneak out of the hotel quietly.... their true beauty seen in the early morning rays, reminded me of Count Dracula......like 'aaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrghghghg!!!' That guy must have been dead drunk when he took 'it' to his room!!!!

:cheeky:

btw, which is more recommendable? K&N or BMC air filter ...

Have a Yoshimura GP Force street legal slip on. No catalytic converter and one unit of Fitch's fuel catalyst in the tank. Everything else is stock.

Getting about 17.5 km/litre. Was getting closer to 19 km/litre when I rode up to KL for the F1. Normally hit reserve at about 245 - 250km.

Prior to Fitch's in the tank, I was getting about 15 km/litre.

As for the brake chattering... I get too sometimes. Caused by the brake dust build up on the brake pads. Spray water into your brake calipers to get the dust out.

Never use air to blow out the dust... motodiams like to that.... bloody health hazard to all those who breathe it in.

Better still, remove the pads and sand down slightly to remove the brake dust that is impregnated in the pad material.

Even the Goldwings get the brake chattering. However I didn't get this on my previous 954.

Either K&N or BMC is fine, but both will decrease your mileage.

Probably we differ on mileage on V Power because we travel on different routes.
