Have a Yoshimura GP Force street legal slip on. No catalytic converter and one unit of Fitch's fuel catalyst in the tank. Everything else is stock.

Getting about 17.5 km/litre. Was getting closer to 19 km/litre when I rode up to KL for the F1. Normally hit reserve at about 245 - 250km.

Prior to Fitch's in the tank, I was getting about 15 km/litre.

As for the brake chattering... I get too sometimes. Caused by the brake dust build up on the brake pads. Spray water into your brake calipers to get the dust out.

Never use air to blow out the dust... motodiams like to that.... bloody health hazard to all those who breathe it in.

Better still, remove the pads and sand down slightly to remove the brake dust that is impregnated in the pad material.

Fantasitc ... i never got that kinda mileage when i was riding my birdie last time ... maybe i always warm up too much ....

anyway ... this "Fitch" thingie ... is it supposed to be the same as broquet? can use for car?

I kinda believe that this Fitch and Broquet and just brand names for the same kind of product - that is, fuel catalysts.

Same type of China girls of the same profession, both do same things, except one is called Mary and the other is called Lucy. Whahahahahahah!!!

Can be used on any petrol driven engines...go Fitch.com and you will learn more about it.

My bike skidded, but i haf spend $1k on the repairs to ensure that the bike is in tip top condition.

The price haf been revised oso, considering the fact that the interested party will need to renew the insurance & road tax which is goin to due coming this August.

- in other words, interested party needs to prepare at least $2000 for the above costs.

- pls take note that the I will wan to sell the bike with the accersories cos it will cost me $$$ to remove all the mods n re-map the bike to stock......

anybody know where i can get gold oz rims for the cbr1000rr? the rims off a vtrsp will fit right in but i need those oz rims cos stylistically they are very very avant garde.

I saw carbon fibre ones at Sporting if you're interested.

Also saw a normal alloy with sprayed on pattern that looks like carbon fibre. Owner took 2 weeks I think to painfully spray the design. :faint:

IThe url is actually http://www.fitchfuelcatalyst.com/

Fitch doesn't get consumed, I think Broquet does. Raptor's friend bought some for his car.

btw, which is more recommendable? K&N or BMC air filter ...

What i heard is BMC street version got more air flow than KNN street version.

But dun think the difference is really very big.

Should be the same.

To me, its the HESD, gets a lot of this with the same situation as urs when i was running in my bike.

Most probably the HESD is running in too.

After my run in phase, this symptom is gone.

Definitely not the HESD, it's the front brakes, the rattling comes on sometimes when using the front brakes.

BTW, I have an Alpinestar Venom jacket for sale, suitable for SYTs or a small sized guy (no, i don't mean penis), see siggy for details.

Trackies come here!!

OK fess up, you guys who have been going to Pasir Gudang on your CBR 1000 RRs!!

Is the standard factory settings for the suspension way too soft. I kinda thing so.

What adjustments have you guys made to your suspension settings to make the bike more rideable on the track??

And I find that running the Diablo Corsas at 30 psi is way to soft resulting in alot of flexing and overheating.

Last track outing I put 33psi on front and 35psi on rear and the tires behaved much better ie less sliding about.

my pre-load n rebound is adjusted by KP of moto-world, so cant remember wat he did oso.....

my tire pressure for track is always at 31-32 psi for the front 33-34 psi for the rear....

i tried many tire settings..... i felt that this pressure works best as the tire will not flex n slide.... its leaves a tire tread on the track & its dun wear out that fast.....

Pardon me for saying this ... though I am not a trackie fan ......

Last time when i rode on my s4 ... i only put 30 psi on the front and 32 psi on the rear ....

And when i was on my bird ... i put 32 psi on the front and 34 psi on the rear .... and it felt so much more stable

I only had a short stint on the blade ... but i felt comfortable with the same stats for the s4 .....

i thought that it was so much more comfortable cornering with the above stats ... and judging that the blade is only about the weight of an s4 ... isn't 33 / 35 a little too high? I might be wrong .....

we mus oso take note of the tire recommend pressure by the manufactor......

DC recommended pressure is 32-34 for front, 33-35 for the rear.....

All tires has different make, material, and cutting..... so there is not standard pressure for all tires.....
