Hey Tashi, ride safe man.

See you when you get back.

Wish I could go too but I got duty on Saturday morning. Good thing is... I will be off on Monday so I will be scaring myself at Pasir Gudang again. Whahahahahah!!!

:help: :help:

Sorry if my question seems disrespectful, is this your 1st time on a litre bike?

You may want to adjust the clutch setting. If you do meet up with anyone of us, we'll be glad to test your bike. On 4 strokes, especially litre engines, the engine break is stronger than smaller bikes, have to throttle a bit to down shift. Tight is usually good.

Ken, after I got my bike back from BS, engine felt tighter. They must've adjusted something. You felt it too right?

Suzuki coming out with an updated Hayabusa for 06, why change so soon?

i presume u must have down ur gears when the speed is still quite fast.

Try to down gears only when the bike is going to stop.

Then the gears will not be hard to change liao.

The loud "tok" sound will be gone.

Xes Brother chilly... if they did not put in those wavy patterns in the gravel I could have stopped without problems. But the valleys and hills of the gravel pit caused me to lose my balance and drop the bike on the right side.

No big issue... just some gravel scratches and a 2 inch crack at the front signal indicator mount which was fibreglassed internally repaired by Mike at our Jansen Road workshop.

After getting the bike out of the gravel and checking it out.. I went out again on the track to tell myself that I can do it. Some more today go again and do the no brakes drill for one hour.

Abang chilly... aku sudah jadi gila?? :faint:

Nah....looking at the way I ride, I better keep my day time job.

I became a trackie simply because it is cheaper and safer to race around a track than the winding public roads towards Mersing or Jemaluang, like I used to do in my younger days.

I must have been very lucky then... had alot of close shaves on those roads but lived to tell. Now when I think back on it... boy, was I one young dumb and full of spunk dumbass!!!

Last Sunday I ran off into the Turn One gravel pit.. and bruised my ego more than anything else. If it was the Mersing road.... I might not be around to talk about it.

PS - anyone knows where I can get the big Repsol sticker for the right side. The original is actually black letters on a white sticker. The current one on the bike now looks like it has got a bad case of acne. Tashi, can check with AT if they have the original and how much is it??

I heard it's a controlled item by Honda, like stealth technology for Raptor plane.

You may want to try local sticker shop 1st. Should be cheaper. If not, then go order a full set from Honda. I don't think it's cheap. Should cost a couple of hundreds, the price range of a Dainese jacket.

Can always try FJT which sells OEM Honda parts cheap.

Raptor, i seriously would think that u might consider purchasing a set of race fairings for ur track days.

Do take care of your Repsol paintwork as once the Repsol RCV wanna have a change of paintwork in their RCV, your paintwork might become a collectors item man.

Although it may be donkey years later.
