Need a little help.... heard deres a shop selling s4 accesories at jln besar... isit the shops along auntie?? tot of dropping by...but dunno where

chrome crashbar

black susp protector

black balancer

black iu holder

black lever grip

black lizard skin at brake lines

magnetic drain plug

white light for meter

white light for licence plate

 

sticked iu and canister to black too..

 

what about you guys?

just curious. what do u use to wrap ur rear suspensions?? the lizard skin ones arent big enuff to wrap them.

Galespeed rims and Afam sprockets + Yoshi carbs w/open pod air intake + Mono shock arm + Modified Shorty Yoshi Full System + Inverted Ohlins Front shocks + Bitubo Steering Damper + Mini Size R105 Head fairing... these should be enough to create a "WAH!!!" i suppose!

I saw one S4 that day with the Alien head front light cover and a couple of side body plastics. It looks damm good. Where can i get those parts??? As Attached is the photo.

the paintwork looks kind of familiar.. probably belongs to someone in forums.. the 'side plastic" is called shrouds.. its actually for scramblers.. alien headlight can get from ah boy..

would like to know for those who changed to spec3 tailboard, can use back old fender etc, only change tailboard and taillight?

can we use back the old givi rack for topbox?

We all just LOVE to modify our S4 right? Irregardless of which version your ride is currently. My S4 is currently at pure STOCK level and I can't wait to start modifying my S4.

 

Even though the limits to modify our bikez are near endless (esp for S4s), those ppl from TP and LTA will always be around to spot "ILLEGAL" modifications and won't hesitate to SAMAN you.

 

So, my question is this:

Is there a list or a particular webpage or any other forum threads around that lists down all the ILLEGAL modifications of Super Fours? I want to start modifying but I'm afraid I will get caught by the "White Ones" one fine day:dot:

 

I'm not sure whether any of the mods listed down below are illegal. So here they are:

 

- Changing stock handlebar to Scrambler (Acerbis, Renthal etc) handlebar

- Racing footrest? (Cos there are illegal ones for SP and KR... not sure for S4)

- Galespeed rims?

- Adding neon lights in speedo and revmeter?

- Neon under-the-tail lights?

- Any illegal exhausts (other den 2bros and Akra) or illegal mods to exhaust that we should know of?

- Modifying of tail to make it higher?

 

The list goes on but these are the ones I can remember as of now.

 

As far as I know, these are definitely ILLEGAL:

 

- Installing Two Brothers Exhaust

- Installing Akrapovic (freakin sick! and freakin EX too!)

 

Anyone care to share some and add to the list? So maybe one day I, or maybe sum of our fellow S4 riders, can consider what to mod and what not to mod.

raceing footrest - as far as i know, yes.

you mean changing speedometer light to led? as far as i know, no.

modify tail to make it higher - as long as main frame not touched, ie you put suspension riser, it should be legal.

 

there are many mods to be done. inverted forks, underseat exhaust, monoshocks, these mods have eluded me due to the costs.

changing of headlamp is illegal and could get you in trouble as well.

Shrouds are ok

Led signal lights are definitely ok.
