Wow.That is seriously low. I have been hearing a 750CC Cruiser able to clock 25km for every Little on normal Road and even better on the NSHW?

If you are referring to my 750cc, I think they are using different engines. I also found out that it's down to 21km/litre for city riding, but that's ok, 'cos it still within my expected mileage.

I remember the Magna 750 has a tachometer and the Shadow 750 doesn't. I think the reason is the Shadow has a flat torque and the Magna doesn't, so you can push it beyond 200 km/h on the Magna but for me it's still 150 km/h.

Just an update, guys.

After almost a month of stormy weather (especially on weekends!)

I was able to bring the bike out for a long test run to see if there was any

improvement on the fuel consumption after rejetting.

Well, its doing 15 kms per liter now in wide open road

but still a terrible 11 kms./liter in city and traffic.

I also noticed some muffled backfire when i deaccelerate.

Thats not right is it?

Any advice guys?

Thanks in advance.

Bro that's very very low, My magna is able to get ard 16 to 17km/l for city and more than 18km/l for highway riding. I think ur tuning is still not rite yet, i still feel best with orginal jet kit and setting.

Hi. Just got back from the bike shop where i had my carbs opened again

to see if i could get it running better.

We finally sorted the problem which was twofold.

1. The 4 pilot jets each had different sizes! What a bummer!!

No wonder when we took out the sparkplugs, 3 were rich mix and 1 was lean mix!

2. The butterfly valve on carb 1 was bent. That's why it would'nt close.

No wonder synchronizing the carbs was not only nightmare,

it was next to impossible!

So after 5 hours in the shop, we finally got it running better.

Im going up north again for another trip. It's about 500 kms.

I should know if my fuel has improved.

Cheers.

wow you got yot same bike bet? bet the other party was touched by your devoted love for your magna.

He's a ride buddy from another club so we know each other.

We just swapped bikes. But i couldn't handle the weight and height

of the X-11. So i asked him if it was ok to get my Magna back.

He said it was ok.

They say, you'll never know how much you love something until you lose it.

I really missed my Magna. The weight and height are absolutely perfect for me.

Im glad its back.

Hi and welcome.

A shadow ACE 1100 V twin is a great bike.

If ever i was to upgrade (again?) that would be the bike i want to have.

The Magna's a great middleweight cruiser bike.

Its got a detuned V4 powerplant derieved from the 750cc VFR Interceptor.

Fast, lots of torque and a bulletproof engine that requires minimum maintenance.

For my weight and height, my Magna is perfect.

Hi guys.

Just got back from a 500 kms ride to the north.

The place is Baguio and its in the Mountain Province in the island of Luzon.

The temperature is cool 24 degrees in the daytime and a nippy 12 degrees at night.

I brought along my Magna and got a realistic 19 kms/liter with her.

Cheers.

Did a slight upgrade on the bike.

Saw this on the internet and i thought that would look good.

Its a mini rack that replaces the backrider seat.

Had it fabricated here based on a picture i downloaded on the net.

Hope you like it.
