CAMERON HIGHLANDS ride -LAST CALL:thumb:

 

I have a great bungalow in Tanah Rata with 5 rooms. Accomodation Cost will be split; more rider = lower $. Food and others cost to be borne by individual.

At the moment there are 3 confirmed riders (inc moi) and 1 other enquiry. There is 1 more room available.

Itin:

 

1st May - meet at Adam road food center car park at 7am and set out via 2nd link. eta CH 2pm

3rd May: Leave CH ard 11am to 12 noon; eta Sg 7pm.

 

I was up there on the 3 may and saw no viffer :cry: :cry: ... set off at 7am and came back at reached hm at 11pm the same day ... Quiet fun to go up and down in one day though and the best part was the heavy rain on the way up, so bike was powersliding up the tapah road ... very nice to play ... hehe:cheeky:

What a shame - could've one more kaki. We had breakfast at Tanah Rata at 8.30 am and left CH at about 9am. Should have called me - I left my ph # in one of the above threads. Anyway, We went up via Tapah but came back via Gua Musang ie eastward. Its a fantastic 139km of long wide sweepers. I broke off from the others and came straight back thereafter and reach Sg at 7pm on 3rd May. The others went thru Karak and to Malacca and back Sg on 4th May.

Alternatively, you can get a GIVI rear luggage rack that is VFR specific. It doubles as passenger grip too. see attached pic.

Actually i have it. Juz want the original rear grip. Went to eversuccess @ lembu road. They checked no stock.

Wonder if the 6th gen's grip is compatible as the 5th gen? Anyone can help confirm?

Hi Y'all . The National Day ride has been planned for a shorter 2-day ride on 9 Aug to 10 Aug to Genung Ledang (somewhere south of KL). Leave early Sat morn and back to Sg late Sun afternoon.

Hi, Yes, Jeremy is with us, but we were still head banging over how late we want to sleep on the 9th, so I'll update on etd once the the snoring subsides. But 6am in PG is cruel.

No worries.let me know again.We always like to travel early as its more cooling and further more we have about 700km to cover.So setting off early makes it more time to play at penang.

Destination: Genung Ledang Nature Reserve

Date: 9 Aug to 10 Aug 2008

Departure Meet up: 8am, 9th Aug at Esso GP.

Return: Late 10th Aug Afternoon.

The Pace: Leisurely sporting.

Non bike-specific but should be capable of maintaining The Pace safely.

Agree. Sometimes I don't bother to plan also. Wanna go, then just go... No need to plan too much..

(both side wings with fix + 7 custom-made stix)
