more often than not, it's for cosmetic purposes. we see lots of sports bike doing it. but do take note, if u put under the seat, the IU might not be able to be detected if u have a pillion over it.

I was thinking of customizing a lockable metal cage-like box for the IU and GPS unit on the handle bars.

 

Will look really cool, a sleek shiny metal box with a sliding cover and engravings, best if the lock on the box can be the same as the ignition key.

i gt my card stolen 2-3 times also.. but nvr happen on my r606.

IU is under my pillion seat. top up 50 and left e card there haa..

go slow when reaching gantry shd be able to scan.. sometimes 4gt i pass too fast.. but nvr recieve letter leh..

Write a check list, laminate it and scotch tape to your fuel tank. Its so ugly you'll want to remove ASAP. But you cannot remove until you are able to follow the checklist by hard.

just have that habit of checking your IU unit.. when i get up my bike i will have the habit of putting the cashcard even if i am not sure i am going to use it.. or buy those leather IU cover..

agree with many said here... must have a habit.. but me personnally i cant built tat habit cos i will only go in town or use the IU once in awhile... a few weeks once. but to date i lost not less than 3 cash card.... so now wat i do is.... every single time... once passed the gantry... i willl straightaway take out the cash card... lucky me i always have a habit to look at the IU when passing by the gantry.... so i wont miss it deducting my money... tats me tho... u can try that too... jus take it out and stick it somewhere... pocket or bag
