Whats bugging me.

This old married man, is trying to hook me. He claims that he knew me from the motorcycling side. But somehow, his knowledge of motorcycling is very minimum..

And there really is a lot of clues that this fella is trying...from his questions about my fertility and his mention about his testicles tube being blocked blah blah blah. To him trying to talk too much about cannot have babies....

I was like....oei....I donated eggs....i did my researches on fertility and even some bio genetics stuff, so its like.....you are trying to bluff who?

Maybe I was just being too sensitive? That I find that his questions to dig information to relate to me, or that that his questions and tone of voice just tells me that he just want cheapo sex but still want to look respectable.

Sounds like a tikopeh leh. Of all things, talk about fertility.

Its a old ploy lah.

1) He is trying to suggest he cannot have children, so thus can shoot in w/o condoms.

2) And if a child result from it, he can claim that the child is not his and run far far away. Sg dont have paternity liability suits what.

3) Its a rationale trying to push thru a female, that since there will not be children, and if the female accepts him, it means she accepts his advances for casual sex relationship w/o responsibilities.

4) There is also a pity sex kinda hope in it.

He did however back down, when I mentioned that no doubt I am pass child bearing age, plus with cancer to boot, that I am actually still fertile.

However, he did try for a comeback, maybe this time, he want to bring up suggestions for condoms? Or in the hope that he can ply me with alcohol and I might not noticed whether he shoots in or not?

To me, Discussions about fertility is a pretty scientific issue. From genetics to imortality.

But well, who knows.....some fellas might prefer to associate it with sex since that was traditionally how it came about.

Block testicles can be treated. Its just a small micro surgery to nick at the right portion.

And a man has two testicles. One block, the other still will work. If both block. Extractions to inseminate thru IVF is also possible. Or micro surgery can be done.

As I said, bluff who?

One of the most original pickup lines I have ever heard.. I'd give him credit for that.

But its really a pathetic attempt though.

And i should inform NTUC income to cancel my insurance? den i proceed to get another bike with insurance?

To ride on the road, You need skills,Stamina, or even luck.

But to be a good rider, you have to change with your environment, and adjust yourself to its rhythm.

i wont be embarrassed to say/ask this but..

thing that's bugging me right now are the control of the motorcycle at low speeds; turning right or left from stationary..sometimes throttle not enough, the bike almost tipped over (i had to use my leg to kick the ground).. too much throttle and i'll end up doing wide turns.

sure, i've just passed my TP 2 months back and have been riding everyday..so i dont think it's the issue of getting used to the bike (or am i just disillusioned?) as this thing comes and goes; sometimes, i would be able to do such turns smoothly without almost falling over.

But recently, i just cant do it..have to paddle and make sure i don't have to turn too much and risk dropping the bike. And for U-turns, i'll do a 3-pointer, at times holding up traffic (but only at carparks)

it's so bad till i refrain from doing U-turns unless absolutely necessary, and going to places that involves maneuvering the bike at such low speeds, such like shopping centres etc.. i used to go for joy rides and enjoying every moment of it, but since the "discovery" of f**king up low speed movement, i just ride to work and come home, (straight road to e'way, and back.)

i would want to enjoy riding very much, but I'd say my confidence in riding has pretty much taken a beating and the joy taken away, nonetheless. =((

how do i deal with this? and thanks for looking..

1. Have the steering cone bearings checked out. Bad cone bearings will result in the bike handling very poorly at low speeds, keeps wanting to drop to one side instead of going straight.

2. Practice, practice and more practice. Nobody was born able to jump on a bike and ride. Even Rossi and Stoner had to learn how to ride a bike.

Kelena, I haven't ride my bike much in a month, maybe only twice, cuz always take company bus to work. Now I also lack the confidence to corner but just keep riding and practicing, know the capabilities of your bike and your own. I used to reach a lower lean angle last time but now I don't even dare go down, scared I cannot make it, so just go slow and take time to improve.

Don't rush things :) Ride safe.

Thanks for sharing my thoughts.. I don't think it's so much of a defect on my bike, cuz it's quite new.

It's prolly my mentality.. I guess there's nothing else I can do but to keep practicing, like what both raptor and u mentioned.

No choice, some things just need getting used to. well, I shall practice more, maybe taking it out for a spin later tonight..

Could I have been way too careful? So much fear of dropping the bike, that's why I'll tend to really drop it?

But on a side note, is it harder to do slow turns on a sports bike?

Shucks! I feel so paiseh seeing girls handling big bikes, and here I am, pissing in my pants! Gawd..

Sport bikes tend to have a higher turning radius because your fairing limits your handlebars, you can compensate by more lean maintained speed but I don't recommend it la, best to just go slower.

I buang twice in 6 months after passing eh and the buangs not minor2 ones, both required total rebuild of my front end, fairings, front rims, tank, people see my bike they assume I'm dead, its that bad. Thank god minor scratches, I attribute the accidents to inexperience and foolhardiness. The week after my accident of course become very safe rider but after a month, back to normal.

I really believe its a state of mind, something is affecting your train of thought, for me, both of the times I accident was because my mind was pre occupied, the first one I was sleepy, the 2nd I lost my way huhuhu.

Better keep your mind clear, for riding or driving, it may be more dangerous than riding dangerously.

If it doesn't start, shouldn't keep pressing on the starter motor. Do an overhaul. Don't think its wiring nor CDI.

It really depends, you can't do tight turns easily on sports bike as said by Jehuty, limited by handlebar turning radius. That mostly applies to U-Turns, other than that, its about choosing your line, hard to explain but go watch some videos on youtube about racing lines etc, you'll see how they do it, or keith code.

Also, don't compare yourself to others, instead, challenge yourself. :) But of cuz la, if you wanna do anything out of the ordinary, best try controlled environment if you can go to race track... and always gear up before you go practice, e.g. jacket, jeans/riding pants and shoes or boots that can provide protection incase anything happens. All the best!
