Today I saw a very nice Honda vintage bike along Braddell Road, outside Comfort Delgro stretch of road at about 12.30pm. I couldn't get a better look of the bike as traffic was busy, but I believe the colour is cream white and blue. If you are here please tell me what bike you are riding! It was love at first sight and my curiosity is getting the better of me. You were riding in the centre lane while I was on the extreme right lane, rode past you in a white vanvan. Thanks!

anyone knows what vintage/classic round tail light from any bike model tats nice? i wanna fix on my rxk..

Many RX-K's use the round tail light from the 1974/75 Yamaha RD350B. Nice. Look around the older bike shops as they may have a couple left. If not, many on the net as well.

Hi Guys, Bazza here - I got banned because I needed to have 50 posts to put an ad on the garage sale and the webmaster apparently doesn't have a sense of humour.

Apparently 3+ years of loyal membership doesn't count for anything round here.

So, I'm back to 1 post and have a new handle.

Still got lots of sportster parts for sale, maybe one day I'll be allowed to tell you about them.

Cheers,

Brett

Following is the message sent to SBF to try and find out why they banned me, wonder if I'll get any response.

Just wondering what is going on. I sent a message to the moderator about 3 weeks ago about putting an ad on the garage sale area and never got any reply.

I posted in the thread about rules for placing ads that the rule requiring 50 posts is biased against loyal members and benefits short term post whores - there seem to be many people with the same view. Someone removed my posts which meant I had to get my post count back up again - apparently by spamming the board, which your rules promote.

I submitted messages to random threads to get my post count up - based on your rule, not mine.

Now I'm banned without any explanation or warning???

So:

* No response to valid questions submitted to Moderators

* No recognition of long term membership

* Benefits are skewed to those who simply post nonsense but get their post count up

* No warnings or other correspondence at all

* Banned with no explanation

SBF is a good site - I browse it frequently, but your rules seem to ignore the fact that not everyone needs or wants to post often - length of membership should count for something, apparently just not at SBF.

Any chance of a response or are you going to continue with the silent treatment?

Cheers,

Brett

Hi there. For lambretta is not that expensive for the engine parts except those mod item like ts1 kit, imola or mugello. But They are the best for daily usage. If you have the passion for it, just go for it. Make a research about the new generation parts for lammy, do lots of reading, they are better then the stock original parts. Lastly, lambretta is suitable fr daily transport. Be prepare to spent alot for the good engine parts. There's one guy here in Singapore spent almost 4k just for his lammy engine but it's worth it and lasting. Goodluck!
