Happened to be at Looi's Motor Saturday and chances upon the very pretty Kawasaki W800. Must say I'm smitten but my heart still longs for a Triumph Scrambler or a Moto Guzzi V7. Anyone knows where I can find these?

Mah Motors at Lavender will have those bikes.

what's that coming over the hill? Is it a monster? Monster?

A source of inspiration for potential modders. Sorry don't have the time to go to a nice place to take pics yet. hahaha

I might be the 2nd (3rd?) modern cafe racer with the hump at the back, after the chromed one, and also heard about a black one,

but never seen it before. Anyway the project took about 4 weeks with 80% DIY at carpark and the rest needed help for the welding, seat upholstery and sprayworks. Credit goes to Ah Ann (Bike Fabricator) for helping me with the welding and shaping of the seat base, Ah Boon (Bendemeer) for the Seat upholstery and Yeow Motor (Ah Ken) for the paintwork according to my design. Paintwork as good as the now closed Replica Spray Paint. Already got curious stares and questions about what bike it is. heeeeeee

What it looked looked originally..

Hi all...

I've just bought a used Ducati Sports Classic from an ang moh expat.

The spokes are really rusty and a few rust here and there. Anybody got any good tips to share on how to remove the rust and bring back the shine?

Thanks very much in advance..

Eugene

1) Sand paper away the thick rust

2) apply some acidic liquid such as lemon juice or coke and wrap with cloth for over nite.

3) polish with autoso until shine...

4) polish with thinly apply silicon wax..till shine

hope this help

hey any idea where i can make custom bullet/cafe racer seat?

Vicious Cycles did several cafe racers, maybe you can check them out?

They have available kits in raw metal as well.

Will modding the bike to cafe racer affect passing inspection?

Depends on what you do. Handlebars, tanks, seats, tail can pass certain centres. Signal lights, headlights, mudguards (especially the rear) are sensitive (avoid the LED ones). Exhaust mods (from originals) can clear inspection but any other than stock is a no no (unless you approve aftermarket ones)

I have some classic parts (handlebars, speedos, etc) for sale from my Triumph (can be custom fitted on other custom bikes) - http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php/364724-Original-Triumph-Bonneville-T100-Scrambler-Thruxton-Parts?highlight=

or look here for my sale thread that I update quite regularly - rear suspension, etc

Hi looking for Honda dream fairing any one knows where to get ? Been looking for it for a long long time and just bought a t100 anyone knows how to upgrade the suspension realizes it can't take fast corner

Bro, I just posted on a whole list of rear suspensions that i'm selling. Check them out here - http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php/380018-Custom-handlebar-lever-brakes-rear-shocks-head-amp-tail-light-raincoat-bags

as for the dream fairing, yes, it's a tough one to source. Perhaps the Honda vintage bros, could advice. :)
