Hey everyone,

 

I'm new to riding and aspire to be a cafe racer =)

I have a trusty little Suzuki GN125 which I would like to doll up... can anyone share with me mechanics / workshops which do vintage modification?

Nothing too crazy... just changing seats and handlebar, maybe raising the tank / suspension... stuff like that.

It's possible to DIY if u know how. And it's more fun and satisfying... I'm sure bro @Sprint74 will agree with me on this. But if you lack the technical know how or luxury of time... below are couple of workshops u can consider. But do expect plenty of trips and/or leaving bike there for awhile:

1) Custom Burner

2) Bike Fabricator

3) Vicious Cycles Singapore

I agree with u bro paikia! Niwei Bike fabricator ah ann more busy nowadays with.custom crashbars and Racks. Maybe more money there since his rivals are sengkwang and we all know how they charge.. and his new place also smaller than the previous one where i diy'd at. Very good mod guru that ah ann but I've decided to go my own and got a grinder. Wonderful stuff u can do with a grinder. Hahahaha

On another note, saw a w800 scrambler a 2nd time and finally got to talk to the owner while at traffic light. Cost him $900 at vicious to change the rear fender, DS tyres and add a scrambler front fender (which i tink he shldve opted for a tracker fender instead of a motocross one imho). Maybe a paintjob too? If i diy wldve cost less than half the amount. But take about 3 months. Hahahaha

@*faezah*, you willing to spend that kinda money? Tink aft all our contributions here, do u still wana go down this road? Heeeeee

This is also known as the Suzuki GT200 X5, only 2 are known to remain on the road now. Not easy to find. I know one of the owners, PM me and I will put you in touch if you like.

yes, parts have to import. my bike not only for show, i ride hard on my vintage and hard as in 150-170km.. haha
