manik & hari: hows ur KL and penang trip?

 

Mine was pretty good, but unfortunately I don't have pictures like you to show off chio girls I met along the way . Hehe. No lah, I went up Thursday morning, stop over Ipoh Thursday night, Friday morning Penang, did the Penang bridge back and fourth I think 4 times. Riding on the bridge was legendary, I still cannot get over it. Everytime I mount my bike I imagine I am on the Penang bridge.

 

Then Saturday one shot 10 hours back to Singapore. Bike got absolutely no problems, everything sounds perfect. 1520 kms in 60 hours, awesome fun.

 

Penang I stayed in some ultra-cheap 35 RMB per night place that had a uncle sitting in the reception. Then I park bang in front of him and ask him to keep a lookout overnight, which he thankfully did Sometimes I think this kind of a place is better than a big 4/5 star hotel.

 

Tapah R&R I stop to pump petrol on my way up. The petrol pump guy referred to my bike as a "superbike". Actually it is nothing less than a superbike to me for what it did - 1520 kms in 60 hours with absolutely no problems is no mean feat. I'm in love with my bike, gonna make love to it now. HAHAHAHA.

 

On a separate note, I read about some demands for a Pulsar entourage to Thailand. Why don't you organize one in April (Good Friday weekend?). That is, after you buy your P200

Bro, my handle bar the same also. You ride other Pulsar before right? You think the vibration is more/less compared to the stock handle bar?

 

This P200 has no vibrations at all. Even the footpegs nothing.

Just back from UM .. doing normal standard servicing plus changing EO after 4900 km .. tot of waiting up to 5000km but my calender quite tight...

check clean and replace clutch spring, check and clean front and rear brake plus, redo screw thread on pipe since screw broke into half and etc etc etc ... hehehe

 

 

ok now need to go to PJC then NYP for my class ...

My footpegs no vibration at all. Just my handlebar got a bit of vibration left even after I install end-weights. Was wondering if that is something to do with the handle bar itself. Cannot find a handle brace to fit this bar also.

 

For some reason I always feel my ride is harsher when I riding in the evening back to home on TPE. While riding in the morning to office the ride is so smooth. No matter which EO I choose, evening is always relatively harsher than morning. God knows why May be outside temperature, wind direction.

It's very weird ... day by day the morning start got worser and worst .... It's like if the bike with problem timer in it ... There is a proportion ... 5 mins today ... 10 mins the next week and so on ... Never really thought of using voltmeter because it's a mechanical issue rather ... light indicators was too good to suspect ... I'm kinda have feeling on exhaust system ... than again i could be wrong ...

 

hmm...

i am gueesing something wrong with your electrical system...

starting from what you said thought was water in tank or your batt drained...

but now seems like your starter/electrical side...

have you tried checking your spark plugs?

when was the last change?

@ tupac74 >> how old is your bike? .. my bike once happen previously got problems too .. i've shared my story long ago here ... it can't start .. towed the bike .. bike 1 1/2 day at Um .. bill on changing parts up to $300+ .. but at last a relief for me .. once the redo my electricals .. all good as new ... the bill from $300+ finally down to $90 only for the whole rewiring + change of battery not inclusive towing!!! ... will share my story more if we meet up kekekekekek

I did change last time but that one from micheal mech did very bad job .. so ah teck told me to redo if I have the time but that time I just change my EO .. so kind of wasted .. so yesterday after EO 4900km with Mobil1FS .. Ah Teck did very good job ... cleaned and explained to me the parts inside and how it works .... he took his time while BIG eyes J keep looking. .... seriously I don't care lah since we are customers and customers have the right to ask and know to maintain our bike as smooth as possible.... total damage for labour to open clutch spring = $25 + $6 servicing (actually chris told me $24 but after he left since he was sick big J came in and joe or jimmy qoute me $25) .. don't bother to make a fuss for $1 difference ... kekekek .. but seriously to ah Teck thumbs up!

 

@ glzco .. XO is a regulator while EXR similar like your Pivot Spark Earth ... Spark Earth for mileage and torque while EXR for torque and power .. heheheh another option for one to choose.

My spark earth I have transfered to my sis car quietly and after that I asked my sis if she felt any difference while driving ... then she realised that ya she felt a difference and was wondering how come .. hehehehe

 

For info to all .. Ah Wai will be leaving UM next month .. sad he is a good mech there .. so who came in makes us wonder .. not sure how credible the new guy is .... until then we will know hahahahah

@ AhPet > Clutch lever and clutching response smoother ... racing clutch spring tension a little bit stiffer for fast response. I'm using R9 spring actually meant for wave bike !! and oh yes the labour actually ok but stock price for the parts is hmmmmm .. hehehehe

btw I'm waiting for my modified ori P200 gear shift pedal from India to match with the R9 clutch spring .. just to test around hehehhehe

btw ... yetsrday mfk84 brought the throttle and clutch cable for P180 .. arthur did collect his and after cnonversion ... $4 /pc hehehhe .. but sad lah .. his india friend did not have the P200 one ..... aaarrrrggghhhh!! lol

thinking of putting with my xo regulator + spark earth...

btw with the xo regulator installed,my voltage drop when i signal while travelling(with my total of 10 signals :cheeky:) is less and also my batt able to charge up to 14.6v...even after spark earth is 14.4v max...
