Hi,

Let me know if you need any help shopping around. Spent so much time looking for my protective gear i think I know all the shops that sell anything that can protect a rider

I have an airbag vest (sleeveless vest) I got at the Safe Ride Event 2010 - never tried it. Too bulky for the protection it gives (must wear elbow guards or normal jacket below). Happy to bring it to the BTWO tomorrow if you want to check it out.

 

Haven't seen you in ages, but I remember you were one of the first ones I chatted with on this forum back when I joined, it's good to see your nick around again. Still riding the same pulsar ? Join us for meetings yeah

+1 for the bad Mech experience at Unique Motors Autobay. Such a bad memory I am now finding excuses not to go to check out if they have Rizoma parts to fix my throttle problem...

Today I spent 5h reworking on my switch box and electrical wiring to the fuse box. (yes, I'm very very slow.)

I improved the plug and play function of the switch box to make it easier to troubleshoot accessories hooked to it or the box itself in case I need to. I am also going to trade my single USB port for a double one that's removable (only the socket will stay).

Tomorrow I'll put everything back together and I'll take the chance of removing the tank to have a look at my tank crock filter

It's nice to spend some time on the bike, makes you appreciate it and :lovestruck: it even more !

here at SBT from start .. UM represent Universal Motor which is of cos our Bajaj main distributor no doubt in full is UMPL.

 

as for Unique Motor .. it is wise to write Unique and not just UM..... ...

Yep sure - so to make it clear to all, I was refering to Unique Motors autobay when I said I had a terrible experience there.

UM @ Bukit Merah Lane is still number one bikeshop for my Pulsar, great mechs and great customer service.

@mjbs64 : a bit of delay with VPOST in processing the packages in the US, apparently due to the Easter holiday. But i will keep you updated, they emailed me they should process them within 2 business days.

So expected arrival in SG early next week

@alvinyansg not getting the u-mount and all to try mount tgt with your tank mount? how much did you buy it for?

 

 

from what i see if i were to raise the cam

the wind noise will be the same as in mounted on the handlebar

as for shaky video due to vibration, there is not much for the DV1 when mounted on the handlebar

see the video i posted on the 2 mounting points

so after comparing both i think the handlebar mount will still ber better

cause gives me better view of the road and won't have much restriction as cause by the tank mount...

Oh btw, meant to update you guys, yesterday I went to Bukit Indah shopping center (where we went for the A&W), and I discovered they have a huge dedicated space for bike parking !

Amazing stuff, right at the entrance, I don't know how we missed it (well, I know how, we were all new to the place - that's how).

The parking lots all have a big chain available to lock your tire to the railings. It's a covered parking. And best of all, there's a security guy sitting in the middle watching over the bikes.

 

If there was a movie theater inside the shopping center that would be just perfect
