1.can i know which page dicuss about the first servis for pulsar p200, which engine oil suitable for 1st ,2nd ,3rd sevice . can i hav the brand of e.o ?

2.which another way method for running-in except in user guide?

3.1 thing make me so worry is - y my rpm not stabily at idling speed wen stop at traffic light? my previous r15 also same leh. it is all the bike same like tat?

i wil so appreciate tat some 1 wil help me to solve tis problem. so thanks.

mobil 1 FS,chex...

maybe 1-3 service can use mineral oil...

then use full syn...

for the rpm issue,what is your idling at cold start?idling after warm up after 10min?

1. 1st servicing at 750km : change oil for Mineral oil. UM will know which one, just let them do their thing. 2nd servicing at 2500 km: same thing. 3rd servicing at 5000km: you can start using fully synthetic oil. Other will recommend the one they use, for me it's Mobil1 FS. ($18 a bottle of 1L at LAB)

2. please follow the manual , it is slow, but you will be glad you did follow exactly the instructions in the long term ! the other way yo do the running in is to do a hard running in at a specialized shop where they a have a machine for that. Expensive and not worth it for such a small bike. Running in is an excellent way of getting used to the bike without going too fast..

3. when you say it's not stable, what is the variation exactly ? does the needle move a lot ? maybe you can take a video with your phone ?

New bike issit? ... not stable like eg .. start bike at idle 1.3 then ride after few clicks idle at traffic rpm shoot up to 1.5 like that ... am I rite? ...

 

if yes .. then it's normal .. it will be ok after the engine completed it's running in.

 

EO .. it's up to your choice .... here the EO thingy never ends ... all have their own specific choices.

 

As for me since I bought my P200 1st hand .. my 2nd EO started using Mobil 1 FS already at UM.

 

Why Mobil 1 FS? .... cos I have faith with it's performance for long usage. Some may not agree but I'ved used it till now ... my bike my money who cares rite? ... kekekekeke

 

Almost 3 years 45K mileage since I used this bike meantly for transportation to work only and not for touring.... kakakaka

 

I've no issues with engine failure, leakage, or what so ever negative some people have trademark on this bike.

 

Previously there are people who claimed boldly infront of me that my bike engine will collapse within 2 years but almost 3 years my bike stand as strong as an ox.

 

Your choice lah bro ..... since you ride before so I believed you have your own choice hehehehee

 

For Running in .. you can follow the manual for slow and play safe

hey guyys, just did up my bike today. the pocket just received a burning hole.

 

1. Changed to battlax tyres, just like ah teck and alvinyansg recommended, but changed to rear 110/80.

2. installed a voltmeter

3. hella snail horns.

4. iridium spark plugs.

5. reflective rim tapes

6. a couple of custom fonts.

 

it's a bittersweet feeling. Ouch for the pocket but =) =) at the same time.

iridium works well with protec coils

and also smoothness comes with sinnob sprocs

hey guys.. i feel very hard to push my bike out of parking space and sometimes i tip toe a little.. just a slight bit.. and i know for sure shaving seat is good for me.l but will it affect the handling of the bike when it moves?

shaving seat will not affect your handling

more of your comfort if shave too much

see if the symptoms are there

no need to hit 90km/h

see if the rpm range is the same as with both coils in

my usual 90km/hr is about 6k - 6.5k rpm? but after changing both spark plugs to iridium and tyres it became 80km/hr for the same rpm.
