I agree that rider has a part to play, but just think about it, how come only pulsar gets this reputation and not other bikes? Never heard anyone say phantom is problematic or wave is problematic. Or is it like a specific category of careless bikers only target the pulsar, may be because its cheap to maintain. But then kups are even more cheaper. But never heard anyone say kup is bad. So somehow that argument of completely blaming the rider doesn't sound right. Not against pulsar or anything but just pondering over it and the fact that 1 ltr eo reaches only the bottom mark made me connect the dots, nothing else

 

erm.. what i know that.. pulsar has a little more design fault than others.. (eg. plastic cap at the side of engine that will tend to leak, stock afr setting is lean if any of u notice.. bla bla bla)..

 

but ultimately, mainly is those riders.. everytime i go UM while waiting for NGAT to fix my bike (normally will wait 3-4hrs), those ppl bikes are really in bad condition. even for a FBF plate bike look like FS plate bike.. Nv lube chain, engine oil wait till 5k then change even though there is sticker on their tank ask them to change at 2k.. when their bike fail, they blame that this bike no good..

How do you know it's failing or failed ? Is it a change in the performance, in the speed per rpm ?

No, it's just because he is particular and wants one of the mechs to service his bike so he waits for him.

 

Avoid Saturdays if you can or show up at the opening time and you won't have to queue. There are 4 to 5 mechanics. Servicing itself can be done in 20min.

hmmm okay so what kind of service packages are available at universal? and hows the price range guys? btw does your pulsar comes with a box coz mine comes with it so tot of removing it as it might look nicer =p

Yesterday, got my vehicle inspection done at Vicom, Changi. Previous times, I used to always do it at Vicom Kaki Bukit.

 

Vicom, Changi is best ever inspection experience I had. The guy just sat on the bike and put the long wire, into exhaust pipe and then checked the tyre grip/braking over the rollers and thats it! He didn't check the lights, horn or anything else. I went really early at 8AM and the whole thing finished in less than 5 mins.

 

 

 

This place is highly recommended, especially if you have any suspect stuff on your bike
