Went to UM for a check on what was wrong with my bike.

Mechanic told me that its about the tuning of my bike that was a little off.

So he tuned it a little, however as i was going home from malaysia i realized the problem still exist.

I still feel the kickback when im in 8.5k rpm (arnd 120+) trying to throttle more is useless as it just seem to not move.

At some cases, slowing down. I'm wondering if there is any users experiencing this as well or is it only me?

Not only that, the mechanic has changed my front disk brakes as he says my front disk brakes is slanted or not even.

Asking me if i have not felt it, i could only sheepishly tell him that i am new to riding.

Couldn't tell him i don't use the brakes could i ?

If anyone rider has this problem please let me know what are the solutions please .! =,(

Bro, 200ns max torque comes in at 8000 rpm...

from your description, you are at 8.5k rpm which means the bike is producing max torque alr...

no matter how much you throttle, the torque will not increase...

your speed will increase but will be a lot more gradual...

suggest that for you to better utilized the torque and power that is produce by the bike, do throttle more gradually to reach pick up your speed...

if you full throttle at every gear change, you will max out your available torque and power output very fast...

Our engine not r15 engine.. cannot whack like sports bike everytime.. power limited. Overall its a great transport bike with great looks. Not power.

Me too missing the speed I use to have. Maybe in future will get a 2nd bike. For now this will do fine for transport.. slo2 and steady wins the race.

o.0 that means i have to travel at 100-120 and not beyond that or the engine would gets damaged?

oh my...that's a letdown. *cries*

Pulsar have a rpm limiter all for the purpose of longer milage riding and to protect engine from over heating

u can try riding a pulsar frm sg to kl with 1 full tank filled.

Put this in mind, the faster u go the faster the wear and tear. that is y F1 car always decomission after a race.

Just like royal enfield 350, they cant go fast but they can go far.

I understand already, thanks for clearing that up for me.

Anyway its time to go to "uncle" mode with this bike.

Went and decided on a box, knowing there will be drag resistance

i prolly will get a 2A sportbike for speed and my trusty 200NS for transport =)

Hi you mind explaining more on this? i couldn't understand , as in does it run out or?

the 200ns engine can only produce a fix amount of torque...

if you throttle up at every gear change, you will hit the max torque rpm for each gear...

o.0 that means i have to travel at 100-120 and not beyond that or the engine would gets damaged?

100-120 on sg road is speeding and comes with fine and demerit point if you don't know...

anyway pulsars are never designed for speed...

yes the ns has better top speed than the previous versions...

but it is still design for good fc with the additional fun of more power and speed...

the 200ns top speed on paper is 136km/h...

if you travel for long period of time on 120, your bike will need more work on the engine sooner than others...

it is ok to ride with occassional higher speeds though...

that said, see my signature...

Well said bro..

If everyone actually tested their bikes on e-braking from a pre-determined spot, you will be surprised at the distance it takes for your bike to come to a complete stop at 30km/h, 60km/h, 90km/h and so on..

We tend to be over-confident when it comes to riding, and when that happens, you switch from counting the accident-free days to counting-down to your accident day..

Why speed? There are easier ways to die without causing harm to others or putting others at risks..

The box for 200ns is better fo4 pillion I think.. even though its my first bike with a box.
