Good thing I went to ask and let them test, is actually not much difference with or without dB killer, just a bit more beefier sound and is still within exhaust noise spec in singapore, also some repo

for 2b bike fitting ABS seems like an overkill

 

well, ABS is a good to have...

the Duke200 2013 has ABS, Apache RTR 180 2013 has ABS...

I've got a problem. I didn't realize that my 200ns reached 762kms, and is due for 2nd servicing. During riding, I feel a lot of heat from the ride side of engine. Can I still ride and anything wrong with the engine? I need to use the bike to work tommorow but its SUNDAY!!! :(

first servicing is due at 1000km...

during run in, your bike will tend to run a little hotter...

it will gradually improve after run in...

Right now in my mind i hv this two choice, either i go for pulsar 200ns or fz16.. I cant really make up my mind

 

easy choice...

go to both bikes sit on them and try out, which one puts a smile on your face is the one for you...

Hi I'm new here, goes by the name kelvin. So I just recently bought a pulsar 200 ns, rode it for about 3 weeks. On the way back home tonight there was this very odd clicking or ticking? sound coming from my engine, as if there was a coin knocking from within. Anyone here actually experience this or know whats wrong?

hi, mileage of your bike? last service? what was done at the last service? at what speed/gear did you hear the ticking?

its at about 320km, not been to first service yet. i heard it when i was at gear 6, after which when i stop the bike at the carpark and leave it to idle, the ticking sound could still be heard

 

*went down to start bike again, ticking sound gone but when i rev it could be heard again.

oh, my idle rpm was at 2k after travelling from aljunied back to jurong. Maybe I was over-reacting over the ticking sound cause I only heard it today out of the 3 weeks i rode. Thanks!!

Hi guys.. just a note of caution.. riding home can get quite unexpected sometimes.. You will see that the SUV in front slowed down coz the laser is really quite strong.. it could have got to his/her eyes too.. this is along Holland Road.. refer to map:

changed my engine oil to motul 7100 10W40.. but didnt really feel like it lehh.. engine feels like more roughh.. haiyyy..dunno if i should change or not.. also lately bike vibrates more during 77km/h at about 6th rpm.. used to feel the obvious vibration aft 90km/h.. any idea?

RXZ(FE4**2A) - 25th Sept 2010 till 16th July 2011

125Z(FZ***3D) - 20th Aug 2011 till 16 Oct 2012

PULSAR 200NS(FBG 8**2J) - 29th Dec 2012 till present

hi,

 

I just got my license today,aiming a Pulsar 180 should be UG1(manufactured in year 2005.) in a bike shop in Ubi.

Any advice for me what should I take note of?
