hiaz nvm tml go ask them see wat happen again. Coz the last time i been there they say nothing ma u flash then it blink blink can liao... I was diao though it will change to high beam then back to low beam.

Yup yup....THATS the pass switch...ie press to flash ur high beam when going thru junction or at taxi drivers then let go....

 

The main lo/hi beam s/w is just above the signal indicator s/w

Check it out first...u dun wanna get laughed at for nuthin' :lol::lol::lol::lol:

could gaban's problem be due to spark plug cable not sealing water out properly?

 

makes sense. did change 2 denso splug last wk. b4 dat i used some unamed brand of splug ($5 each). mayb d splug cover not tighten properly.

Not the plugs 100% confirm.

if the plugs had prob, u wun be even able to start up the bike already.

oh yeah.. when my brother had this problem with his phantom during rain.. he could start the bike immediately.. had to push the bike to the side and wait for a while before the bike can start. also the high rev is weird leh.. wrong diagnosis on my part :sweat:

high rev is most likely due to the injector pin stuck in the carb hole. BUT for electronical bikes like pulsar..... other matters come in.~

i though press the passing switch it should change high beam then back to low beam. And not just blink at low beam...also the high beam light is not on when i press the passing switch. Thought should like car to flash ur high beam not on it.:sweat: :sweat:

nvm is ok... coz i got ask lanzer he say maybe is the bulb problem. I also dun know.

hi chief tech,

Can advice on how to remove our pow cut/limiter... Or any ways to rev into e red zone?

Current P200 setup: Sinnob Sproc[15, 39], NGK platinum plug with spark booster, V3 racing coil, cheetah CDI[dual mode], broquet B2, DIY oiler, hazard light, DIY gnding, PE28[pj-38, mj-120], open pod filter

Try warming up ur engine longer. If prob still persists, time to change the carb diaphragm liao. $25.

The round one on the right side of the engine?

 

That part always leaking out engine oil even when they had it repaired. Just that it depends on how bad the leaking is.

 

You mean for his case is that water seeped into the engine from there?

Better to be Late then Never....

helo, hw r u guys doing? hope u al r fine. me? i had a very terrible wk last wk.

so just wana share it.

 

tuesday night: went to c nemesis to solve my hazard light prob. its my fault cos i didnt connect it properly. maybe i was excited on dat day(21 sept during d hazard light diy) n 4got 2 tightened d conections. n yay, he solved my prob. thnx bro. went hme, happy.

 

wednesday: went 2 work in d morning. raining heavily like raining scud missiles. ( 2 those who played cnc generals, u will understand). all of a sudden my bike broke down. luckily i stoped near pioneer rd exit flyover. pushed my bike below d flyover n try to start my bike. d rpm shoots up high as s bike starts n den shuts down. did several atempts but still failed. called my colleuge n told him i'll b late. called fyrus aka virus from cbr150 wether he can pick me up. luckily he works in jokoon which is near 2 my work plce. i waited 4 him several mins wen he finaly arrives. he checked my bike n told me mayb d water went into d exhaust or d s plug wire is loose. well, in d end, he send me to work, leaving my bike der. d prob doenst end der. at work: i cant concentrate. did so many drawing mistakes n i was really in a bad mood.

i cant calm myself down. it was raining d whole day n i was in a nrvous wreck. i finaly decided 2 take an e-leave on friday. my checker was pissed as i had to transfer d asignments to her. i feel sori 4 her. but i got no choice. u might be wondering y not do it on sat right? cos if i wait dat long, scared dat my bike would kena stolen. u nver no. went home using d company bus. tired,frustrated , n pissed.

 

thursday: christmas holiday. spend d day at home. rest, cant sleep properly.

 

friday: went back 2 d flyover via taxi in d morning. luckily it was der. start my bike n it was okay. went to UM 4 service. after dat went to my renew my road tax, insurances n instalments. all cost me around 800 bucks. i just got my pay on dat day. my wallet was already koyak. i gave huge sigh n went bck. d rest of d story , 2 long to type.

 

im no mood 2day. d atmosphere here is a bit intense 4 me right now. i always tot of myself.... dats life 4 u.

I had just changed my engine mineral oil after 800km Run-In to 0WS 800 10W40 Fully Synthetic.

 

I was very happy with the engine smoothness at high rpm and silky gear engagement.

 

Strongly recommended for all Pulsarian bike owners.

 

Price is much cheaper than Maxima Extra 4T 10W40.

 

Good engine oil indeed and never regret using it for the 1st time.

All new bikes need to be run-in for 800km using mineral oil with speed below 65km/hr.

 

After that, speed range limits to 80km/hr for another 1000km.

 

After 1800km, speed can be above 90km or more.

U switched to fully-syn EO too soon. Should use mineral oil till run-in is completed (after 2400 km).

 

Reason: Synthetic oil is too thin/slippery, causing the piston ring to not seal completely/properly.

All new bikes? No lah bro. Running-in is abt RPM, not speed. For any given speed, a supersports bike will require a lower RPM than a 2B naked bike. So can't apply the above to all new bikes.

 

Btw, contrary to popular belief, running-in is not abt conditioning or 'seasoning' the engine. It's abt piston ring seal.

 

No offence, just sharing my humble knowledge. Of course wat u do with ur bike is ur prerogative lah.
