I had just changed my engine mineral oil after 800km Run-In to 0WS 800 10W40 Fully Synthetic.

 

I was very happy with the engine smoothness at high rpm and silky gear engagement.

 

Strongly recommended for all Pulsarian bike owners.

 

Price is much cheaper than Maxima Extra 4T 10W40.

 

Good engine oil indeed and never regret using it for the 1st time.

Hi Hi.. are u ridding a red pulsar.. i saw a red pulsar park under the pioneer rd exit flyover last week when i going to NTU around 1am..

I'm currently riding the Pulsar DTSi 200cc.

 

According to most motorbike shops, there is no more problem switching to fully synthetic engine oil after 800km Run-In, provided you are using good engine oil with high rpm, speed protection such as the 0WS 800 10W40 Fully Synthetic.

 

I brought the above engine oil to UM for engine oil changing yesterday.

 

So far, the mechanic had no comments over it.

imho.. i feel that our bike shouldn't change from mineral to fully syn so quickly.

 

but to each his own lah :) its always good to try new things mah. never try never know :)

 

but saferider.. you sound like you earning commission from everbright leh.. is that the case?

limiter is til 10rpm only. u 1 2 go above 10 muz change CDI or mod the CDI.

I don't earned anything from Everbright and this is my 1st time buying engine oil from them.

 

It is all up to individual to try it, no obligation as there is no commission earned of recommending to all Pulsarians.

usually my idle rpm less than 1.5k. not sure wad was happening when i took the pic haha....i think i was playing with the throttle b4 taking the pic....
