Hey all...

I went to UM yesterday and i met saferider.

I was influence by saferider to change my stock tires..

battlax 120mm.. Is battlax heavier than the stock tires..?? cos i feel now my engine is a bit noisy and like got something pulling me back on the road.. Like the tires are made if sticky tape... the grip wise i can't say much yet as the tires are still new and i guess there are still the wax layer on it.

I was also influenced by saferider to install the crash bars. hahah saferider is juz too persuadesive to resist....

I wonder if there are crash bar at the back also like the bbdc like that.. hahaha

I wanna to change my gear box.. lindavw says its possible? is it changing to stock?? the UM engineer showed me the gears.. all is tightly fixed.

I was thinking instead of changing the size bigger. reduce all the lower set of gears for better pick up.. then reduce socket by alot... Naturally the 5th gear be the bigger by alot compared to the 4th gear.

it'll be heaven to have gear 6 or 7. haha

I wanna thank gaban for helping me transport my tires home... hahaha..

4] Does removing carbon deposits help in mproving the bikes performance drastically??

1. Here,, there are hundreds brand too... . But usually HID Bi-Xenon Motorized with slim ballast is better,, Hi-beam and low beam using HID bulb.

for cheaper price,, HID Xenon Hi-Lo,, hi-beam using halogen bulb, low beam HID.

Bi-Xenon price is 1/3 higher than Hi-Lo

2. If it's properly maintained it won't break ur engine out. My friend had installed K&N on his P200 since last year,, nothing scarry happen..

i had my JFC air filter replacement since nov '08.

Outlet valve won't affected with ur K&N except u replace ur muffler with a free flow sistem.

Outlet port must reshaped to a D-Shaped port like a P200 one for durability...

3. no sprockets can make ur bike top end better. It's all about the engine. Using semi-sport camshaft would be better..

with standar sprocket i can reach 127kmh on a standard P180 ug3...

5th gear, reaching its limiter.

4. Yes my bro. Low end power will improve significantly.

My P200 equipped with Programmable CDI, JFC air Filter Replacement,, High output performance coils (BT2), n running on 130 main jet.

And then my final gear is too light. I will change my front sprocket with a 15 one.

I'll modify my camshaft into semi-sport soon...

Btw, i don't want ride my bike like a racer, but i just want a comfort tourer..

i wondering if my 5th gear @ 6000rpm can reach 100kmh...

those pics are cool.

but i dun see the need for upgrading the tires to 160/60, 120/70.

u might need to change the swingarms as well in this case to fit a 160 rear tire in.

this is sinkapore. we have constrains so juz live wif it... if not i think most of the pulsar could have already taken off the road n roaming the skies.

* Hazard Light on Pulsar *

I had collected my serviced Pulsar yesterday at UM and the total cost of repair is $1566.

I had paid the deposit of $300 and the balance of $1266 will be after my 3rd party insurance claim against the taxi driver in 9 months time from now.

In addition, many people had been asking me about the hazard light installed on my pulsar 200cc during the DIY session.

I had told them to call you on their needs of the hazard light installation.

Wow, good business for you...

How's your Battlax tires installed yesterday ?

Let the tires seasoned first before cornering too low > Too much wax

More grip than stock tire during rainy day & emergency braking > Safety first

Crash bar is a must > Protect your engine, petrol tank and your right leg, etc.

My Pulsar 200cc is now having 40 to 42 km per litre travelling AYE everyday even with Battlax tires installed.

Petrol used = Shell 95 :thumb:

Engine oil = Maxima Extra 15W50 (Fully Synthetic)

Maximum speed = 90 km/hr

Mileage = 3325km as to date

Guys / Gals.

I tot of organising a friendly street soccer in view to promote healthy lifestyle. rather than meet-upz at KKFC or prata shops in the late nite and smoke all the way and have oily n high caffeine tea n kopi.

how abt this idea? maybe we can form a street soccer grp to play street soccer at any neighbour street soccer courts. sweat it out n keep a healthy lifestyle???

As the team grows with regular members we can go into other bike category sub forums and ask if any are interested to play together? or even they already have teams in it.

Like this we will mingle more with the pple in SBF n not limited to only outings n trips.

what's your oggiginal sprocket size? remove the chainguard and eyeball your sprocket, should be marked there. tell me if it's a 40/41T. We can trade in that case! If yours is the 6 mounting-hole type la. then save me a trip to JB tmrw morning.

haha

Smile! Tomorrow will be worse.
