i tink being willing to go up north is more of importance here.. thou experience would play quite abit here.. due to the road conditions n weather too.. monsoon season probably starts ard oct end i tink.. according to my diving season.. haha.. :cheeky: we shld all organise trips into m'sia sometime soon.. :)

Nice one... I nv thought of the monsoon season... then i shall give this one a miss now... My top wanted place to go is actually Hatyai and cameroon... so nice that trip offers me both.. But since it is monsoon season... go there also no fun... flood plus can't play much...

Looks really nice. How is the weather on the road at that time? Isn't it rain season ?

How experienced must a rider be to join such trip ?

I would love to join but I'll probably be riding for only a month or so when the time comes. So I think I should start slow with trip to/in Malaysia first..

Usually how often are these trips organized?

depends on whos orgnising. it would be a gd experience for riders even p-platers to go up north. it tests ur endurance n patience. but safety comes first though. need to be careful especially for buses n huge trucks n trailers.

The good news is.... The prawn crackers are really delicious... We were like rationing it to save for the last...

The bad news is... My dogs thinks that it is tasty too.... She climb on top of the table and bite open those crackers...

is ur bike a new bike? if new.. shldnt have this problem.. as for 2nd hand ones.. there is usually this problem.. so rem to note ur mileage before u have to switch to reserve and try to calculate ur FC.. this way u get way better estimation of the amount of fuel u have in ur tank.. the digital fuel gauge is aaabit.... :sian: yeah.. :cheeky: for my case.. when i uphill, my fuel gauge goes down.. downhill my fuel gauge goes full.. ha..

haha... its not my cup of tea neither...

actual i need ur review on a new product. since u own a car u should heard of piggyback for car ecu right... i can't do it on my bike cos i m testing other stuff on my bike. hope u can help.

kopi on mi... where u wana meet tis sunday? same place?

by the way.. the protec coil.. how is it doin? i dun rem seeing a follow up on the protec coil.. the protec filter has increased throttle response i tink.. i rem from last time posts.. hha..

filter for better throttle response n high end range pickup (attain desire speed faster)

its actually a 'zero' resistance spark plug assembly consist of cap, cable n coil for providing strong n stable spark, hence improving response n pickup(across all rpm range). i will post more info on tis item soon.

In my opinion e greatest advantage over tis thingy, is tt engine vibration when revs at high rpm >8k not as tough/strong as before...

OK! No problem.... But U wanna test on my car or my bike? Cos if u wanna test on my car but yet fix up the coil and the filter for my bike then i guess i gonna treat u kopi at my place liao leh... I can't possibly drive n ride all at the same time...

This is known problem ! Fuel meter is not accurate and it is just indication.

Here are my tips:-

1. Note your mileage (run km) on your odometer.

2. Reset your trip meter to 0 once you are refueling.

3. Approximately calculate around 45+/-5 Km per litre mileage and be ready to hit the reserve.

4. What it is shown in fuel meter in the speedometer panel is rough indication.

I'm very surprised about this, I read the fuelmeter wasn't precise but I didn't think it was THAT unreliable. What, you buy a bike 6k and it can't even tell you how much petrol you have left? :slapforehead:
