Yes, you are right. But as per UM mechanic, the LED bulbs consume more current (power) than normal ones.

 

Generally (technically) LEDs consume less power. So, I asked how this could be, but he had no answer.

 

LED bulbs are usually expensive compared to normal bulbs. Do not burn your pocket if it does not add value. (my opinion)

 

sound abit wrong.. there is no thing called LED blub.. Just "Blub".

 

anyway i feel normal bulb last abit longer than LED.. as most LED in the market are not using good material to make.. And it;s also more ex.

 

but most ppl choose it bcos it;s brighter & more colors to choose from.

I don't intend to buy anything yet, just have a look at some gear: mainly jackets and boots. Actually this will be my first time ever in a bike shop So it's more to meet with you guys, chit chat and take my first baby steps in the wonderful world of riders shopping is that ok ? If not, it's cool, let me know, I don't want to be a bother to anyone.

Read it a few days ago. That was the cherry on top for my already convinced ATGATT mentality. I just hope no relatives or close ones of mine will find this website, otherwise they'll team up to confiscate the bike from me

 

Please fellow pulsarians, don't think gearing up is troublesome, or that you don't need it for a short ride from home to the hawker center close by. FF helmet, jacket, gloves and knee pads on top of closed shoes (possibly leather) is the MINIMUM. If you think that it's already too much and you don't need it, you're very wrong.

 

And remember, there is always someone who cares about you and would be devastated if you burn your skin or worse. And you can avoid this just by putting laziness aside and make it a habit to put on that jacket and strap on those knee guards

i went with my blue bulb (not led), on is white light, pass.

 

led suspose to consume less power, however they last longer. downside is initial cost is hi.

longest can ta han about 1mth 1week. usually 3weeks will pump, depend on milage.
