evening, insurance coy met me at my blk to take pictures of my bike n make report juz to safe guard myself in case the toyota driver 12 claim me cos my bike din touch his car n to claim foreign vehicles is so damn hard.

overall **** the msian biker... knn turn out neva check blind spot. im a victim u noe????

gd luck to the toyota driver. act smart 12 claim insurance.... see if he can really claim anot.

haha:deal:

i seriously dunno how it happened. i only knew, as i was riding this bike juz came out from in front of the car. then i jammed my brakes but bang..... hit.

the other rider still did not close throttle resulting in him losing control of the bike and then wheelie.

im ok though. back from jb as well cos seriously no petrol already pumped 17.9L hee.

Relieved to read that you are ok Lindavw

Did the other rider suffer any injuries? How fast was he going? If you could stay on the bike and avoid dropping, means he must have been going no too fast, or your bike control is excellent :thumb:

Again, nice to see you're ok and the bike is also

my bike is overall ok except for some minor scratches on the left n the handlebar is higher on the right than left. but still rideable haha and not noticeable unless u r the one riding it. i have got used to it already it seems normal to me now hahahaha

we were all not riding fast but i think i was the faster one but i managed to brake but still useless still kissed.

in the end i return back to the police station after accessing my bike at UM. they told me handlebar slanted only cant claim cos the amount too little so i went back to the station n found the rider explained to him to give me $30 bux settle. i wun claim him cos i cant! hahahaa

but seriously gd luck to the toyota driver. act smart think 1 2 claim insurance. FYI to claim a foreign vehicle insurance is almost impossible cos the rider may not even have insurance!!!

anyway i have already made a report to safeguard myself if the driver wants to claim me if he fails to claim the msian rider. my bike totally no scratches on the right so it means i din even touch the car!

ride safe all pulsar riders. its not very nice to send an sms to ur bosses at 730 stating u r in an accident.

I fear big vehicles, I try to keep some distance behind them or be careful when overtaking them...

Safety tips:

Always STOP at the STOP LINE!

Don't rush. You're not racing for a record.

Always look in front, especially when trying to change lanes, the vehicle in front might jam brake.

Don't be easily offended, a**holes exists, mingling with them gets you sh*t.

Haha... Kana similar incident b4... Malaysian bikes jus suddenly change lane in front of a car in jam... End up he brake like crazy after i horn him... End result, he skidded n touch my bike a little b4 he fell. As the impact was very small wif no damage at all to my bike, I jus carry on riding... Since i am lane splitting in a jam so not very wise to stop in the middle of the road.

Good news

i just recieved a email reply from Sports Connection(The sole distributor of pacsafe products in s'pore) that they will be bringing in the lidsafe into s'pore at the end of the month.

Great job !

Retail price is S$85 (US $60) so around $100 would be a great deal - but I'm sure the shop will sell it at a higher price.

We could organise a MO on SBF though, gather other members that might be interested in it and maybe get a discount from the shop..

Really? What kind of malaisian bike is that.. a rocket or something? :cheeky:

Anyway, it's nice to read it was just minors scratches and bruises here and there.

I have the feeling on a bike other road users are much more dangerous to riders than to drivers. So many more things can happen that are not the rider's fault, compared to when one drives a car..

i suspect his bike has a pair of learner-wheels attached to the rear wheel :D

haha Breadman.. reminds me of my first day at SSDC for bike lessons: I saw the bikes lined up and the instructor was expecting us to just hop in and you know, make the bike go forward on a short distance (2-3m ?) to understand how the throttle/clutch worked.

While everyone went to sit on the bikes, I went to the instructor and asked:"Ehm..excuse me...there are no..you know, the..the learner wheels? Like for when you learn to cycle? I think I need learner wheels."

He looked at me like "wth..." then pointed at my legs: "You have learner wheels already."

:cheeky: haha.. I was scared I'd fall from the bike, now that I think fo it, it really sounds stupid.. :cheeky: :cheeky:
