great trip today..but alternating btw veri hot n cool sections of d roads.... even penyabong beach also blowing alternating cold n hot drafts...

 

great meeting n\ew frens...kelvin, roland, yamada....too bad they miss d best part..whiodch is offroad...even d Jazz turn into 4 wheel drive...

Yea, e most fun part is e one where e red Honda got stuck in e soft sand. We pushed not once, but twice.

 

Then hor, YS proved tt Honda Phantom is THE BIKE!

That YS ah champion la!Champion anyone took video even when he came back he chionged up the sand embankment still can make it.

This trip was full of fun, jokes, peanut-sized servings of breakfast, steaming hot climate, air-con-not-enough seafood restaurant @ Mersing, stuck-in-sand episodes, pushed car, dropped bikes, climbed coconut trees, trying to boil water with a Bunsen burner to make coffee b4 heading seperate ways home.

 

Lai ah, lai ah, more trips to nature setting. Waterfall, waterfall...

On the way back, we cross the bridge over sungai mawar, then search for a track going towards that beautiful beach. This is when the real adventure begins.

yee kiat & yee soong rode their bikes to the unmanned island. Then Yee soong show how his phantom bike can ride on soft wet sand. His bike can do what our bikes can't!

Here we are 6am at GP Esso on a sat morning, 16 ppl in 14 bikes & 1 car.

After a safety briefing & a prayer for good weather & God’s armies of angels to protect us while riding (see Psalms 91), we depart for kluang for breakfast.

As we were riding towards Mersing, the weather was hot at first, but God’s send us a black & dark cloud to follow us & shelter us until we reached Mersing. It never rained, just cool & shady as we ride. Praise & thank God for his goodness. After Mersing, we traveled about 30km towards Kampung Penyabong’s beach. We passed by a bridge over Sungai Mawar and saw this spectacular view. We decided to explore the beach in the distant horizon, upon returning from kampong Penyabong.

I got 3 extra tickets for March 13th "313 + 油站 Concert" , anyone keen?

What is it all about : a Chinese concert especially for Mandarin-speaking youths and young adults!

 

Other than performances presented by NCC and a message by Pastor Mark Ng (马可牧师), the exciting line-up will also features Singapore’s home-grown Chinese pop singer JJ Lin (林俊杰)! Besides wowing the crowd with his songs, JJ will also share how Jesus has touched and blessed him.
