Is it enough to be scriptural? Just because it is in the Bible does not always mean it is for our obedience. One must be dispensational in their theology and understanding of the Word of God.

Scientists at Rolls Royce built a gun specifically to launch dead chickens at the windshields of airliners and military jets, all travelling at maximum velocity. The idea was to simulate the frequent incidents of collisions with airborne fowl to test the strength of the windshields.

 

American engineers heard about the gun and were eager to test it on the windshields of their new high-speed trains. Arrangements were made and a gun was sent to the American engineers.

 

When the gun was fired, the engineers watched in shock as the chicken hurled out of the barrel, crashed into the shatterproof shield, smashed it to smithereens, blasted through the control console, snapped the engineer's back-rest in two and embedded itself in the back wall of the cabin.

Does Matthew 7:1 Mean No Judging at All?

 

Matt 7:1 DO NOT judge {and} criticize {and} condemn others, so that you may not be judged {and} criticized {and} condemned yourselves.

 

The term judge is used in more than one sense, but Christ's meaning is plain.

1) He does not prohibit the civil judgment of the courts upon evil doers, for this is approved throughout the whole Bible.

2) He does not prohibit the judgment of the church, through its officers, upon those who walk disorderly, for both he and the apostles have enjoined this.

3) He does not forbid those private judgments that we are compelled to form the wrong-doers, for he himself tell us that we are to judge men by their fruits. (See Mt 7:15-20.) What he designs to prohibit is rash, uncharitable judgments, a fault-finding spirit, a disposition to condemn without examination of charges.

You should have seen it. Then you would know that God is real, when you see Him personally answering prayers of those who cried to Him in desperation & submission - with real miracles according to Isaiah 53 & Jeremiah 29.

Am studying Corinthian 1 & 2..as i m close to LR, these points keep popping up n up from the verses..

1. Christians unite

2. Do not form cliques if no cliques, where got denominations?

3. Do not place faith/hope on men but God.

4. Settle disagreement properly

 

 

Who are we exactly? who r we to JN exactly? who are we to each other here exactly? JN is a public figure. He has been complimented by former PM Mr Goh Chok Tong, awarded some public medallions.

We have talked so much on forum when we don't manage to build each others up from what we talk(talk, not shared) Talk is not sharing meh? Gossip is also sharing leh.

 

Don't we all notice, when we jump in here to talk, we are being 'seen' more like arguing with each other with verses, than, to encourage each other out of a bad situation? I personally feel sad to see all these exchange. Though i know all our intent are good, but these just didn't serve what we originally intended at all...

 

Do you guys really like to talk like this? or really enjoy doing it this way here? Can we hear the Satan's grin...

 

I saw JN n his wife @ CHC some years back. They were seated in e first row n e video cam of e church zoomed in on them when e Pastor welcomed them in particular. Later on, I watched him offering incense in joss sticks before filming commenced. Since then, I knew not to judge whether he was a true believer in Christ.

 

Maybe till last year, he and his wife were visitors to e church and had not accepted Christ. Maybe his child or children were already zealous believers then and JN n his wife visited e church to "see who God is".

 

As for Li Nanxing n other local artistes who profess to be believers, bless them. They dare to declare their faith in public, knowing v well tt they r constantly under e scrutiny of e public.

Tis Bikers Fellowship thread will mainly for non-doctrinal, non-theological , non-controversial postings.... but we can use for discussion on bikes, rides , updates on upcoming events, jokes and banters., kopi sessions, photos of our rides...

 

A new separate thread "Bikers theological discussions" wil b for more serious discussions on certain topics, verses and their interpretations, methods of healings, doctrinal expositions etc....... tis wil provide a platform for discussion on different views and wil b indepth and focused... but i also expect ther wil b some light-hearted banter

i hv d clip but 200+ Mb. Its a 35 min interview. Li Nanxing really ooze stage charisma & charm. He was very dramatic & interesting, when he talks about his 7 yrs of nightmare, before he accepted Christ .

 

After accepting Christ, God heals his inner man before healing his outer man financially , thru a series of miracles within 1 year of knowing Jesus. If it is a single miracle, then some ppl may think it is co-incident. But it really is a series of financial miracles, that cleared his million dollar debt.

 

Let's praise the name of Jesus.
