Anyway, I've been dieing to ask this, What is Swingarm and Proarm? Which part of the rear of the bike?

The swingarm, simply put, is that big metal piece that supports your rear wheel and connects to the shock/frame. Swingarms are either two-sided like the mito's, or one-sided like the sp/rvf/vfr. To my knowledge (which isn't much) only Honda calls their single-sided swingarms "Proarms".

Time to learn something new too. I realise not alot of 2B bikes has a Damper, mostly all the big bikes have, but we have it too!

Sooooo... what's the purpose of the damper? Because suddenly last night, a TZM rider ask me how much I buy and install the Damper, I told him it was stocked. They his face shock.

Not even all big bikes have it. A steering damper improves the stability of a bike, making it less prone to tank slappers. Particularly useful with all the high-powered, short-wheelbase big bikes nowadays. On the mito it keeps the bike nice and stable at higher speeds, but makes it less flickable on turn-in i find. Switching from a mito to a 250, i find the 250 more agile although it's heavier.

Damper is supposed to prevent tankslapping.

From my personal experience on my mito, the damper makes our cornering more predictable lar... less flickable. You tend not to 'overthrow' your bike into corners.

Oh damn man what caused the seizure? What 2t you using now?

Lucky thing with the block, that's why i'd recommend FM to anyone with a mito. Even with 2nd hand parts they don't just throw you the first one they can find, they rather take more time and find one in good shape. It took them a few months to find that block, although there were some others that did not meet their approval.

More flickable and predictable? Huh?

And what's tankslapping? Squashing your hands between the handlebar and tank?

Meaning with the damper it takes more effort to throw the bike into a corner, but can help you from over-doing it and having to correct in mid-bend like wan said.

Tankslap = violent shaking of the handlebars left and right, often leading to a crash unless you're damn good or damn lucky. Yeah it got it's name from the handlebars literally slapping the tank, full lock to full lock. Best way to correct is to relax your grip, put your weight on the footpegs and let the bike sort it out.

I'm using unil opal... but i believed the seizure was caused because i was away for BMT... didnt ride for a long period of time. I was still able to ride the bike after seizure... but felt a great difference in terms of torque. Loss compression too.

Well, the nightmare is all over. Well, Ah Seng did a good job. He not only did what he was supposed to do only but he go to the extend of making my engine bay clean, changed my fuel line FOC, cleaned my brakes coz brake dust accumulated at the brake pads causing friction, charged my battery too... he even fine tuned my 2T intake too. Although it feeds more 2T, but still passed inspection at 1 go. And yeah, inspection i sent my bike to vicom sin ming myself.

But the long waiting time for your bike to be ready is a mildly stressful period. 2 months is no joke... need alot of patience.
