The last time I ask from a shop from uk with delivery cost total of S2$453. For your case I think you just need to do jetting. Look for ah meng from HKL. He used to do my mito last time when he was still with frist moto.

Just buy jet kit cost only about 15 i think for the set.

vroom...

my bike has new tires!

I managed to find MICHELIN PILOT POWER!! for the Mito... lol...

damn hard to find man...

anyways... I got them for $320 at Bike Works at Shun Li Industrial... Just incase anyone wanna get... but call them first...

The tires are damn good... lol... I can feel the power and grip even in the corner... Its scary, cos i just turn the handlebar abit and the bike goes down alot, alot more than when i was on PILOT RACE H2... but the thing is i feel more power in the Pilot Powers than with the Race... so when cornering, i opened so much throttle i got on the entry ramp of ECP from Rocher at 120... lol...

So yah... They are highly recommended by me... lol... I heard that the M3 are better... but M3 doesn't come in 110 and 150... so yah...

Anyways... I needa get new sprockets and chain... If anyone goes to any shops or stuff, help me ask k? or if you see them on ebay...

16 x 48/46 (415 Chain) ok?

I've been using 415 chain for the past 2 years... and on average the chain lasts me over a year about 15-18months... so don any of you come telling me 415 sucks or cannot last! lol... and they've never broken on me... just stretched... lol...

also, if anyone comes apart a good condition or new rear brake disc, let me know also k? mine is slightly uneven... so abit noisy... lol... if can i wanna change it... i don like a noisy brake...

and if anyone got spare Double H brake pads (front), let me know... or anyone got lobang for cheap HH pads let me know... lol.. my front almost botak liao... lol...

From then to now...

Sols EBC HH can be gotten at Sporting Motors but pls be sure to check the online catalogue first cos their catalogue is not updated. They gave me the replica RS250 model of EBC HH even though mine's the 03 model.

And yes Pilot Power is highly recommended, also for track, even though it has been out for qte some time till now.

I am using M3 now on my 250. Decided to try them cos new pdts mah. Super wear resistant. Sometimes i dont feel gd looking at the edges after track compared to the softer GPR70 or Pilot Power cos it seem that i never corner fierce nuf when in actual fact if i use the soft compounds i will have to change tyres every 4-5 sessions. Superb grip. Price wise 120/150 costs $340.

U can actually get Pilot Power for Mito at HKL or LAB workshop.

And countersteering and going down easily is due to the tyres' profile.

Why four strokes when all you need is two?

HKL say they cannot get for me leh...

LAB always say its on the way... 1 month liao stills ay on the way... I lazy to wait... but LAB quoted me only $250 for the set... lol...

Not too sure cos last time i always use GPR70. Cheap and best!

But some of the Aprilla guys using Pilot Power and they told me they got it at HKL or LAB workshop.

Is ur Mito still as shiny as the one in ur sig? I think i only saw it twice b4 but my impression of it is its a damn chio bike. Not going upgrade?

llook at the specs for the 1998 mito...which i the closest to mine lah

http://www.bikez.com/motorcycles/cagiva_mito_125_1998.php

The Power is stated to be 15.00 HP (10.9 kW)) @ 10400 RPM

Now look at the 2006 specs

http://www.bikez.com/motorcycles/cagiva_mito_125_2006.php

The power states 70.00 HP (51.1 kW)) @ 9000 RPM

Sure not?

Like that i want new one leh.....so much difference :faint:

Does anyone have the CRC specs from the manual to correct or prove this?

You can check out other model's specs too:

is that for 110/150??

Hmm, tyres are going to be expensive man..

Geko,

120/150 pilot power, where to get the cheapest?

Also, anyone thinking of using soft compound only tyres?

Heard of BattleAx BT39SS or something.. Supposed to be all soft and good.. Plus affordable..

Trying that or Pilot power for my Aprilia. Is that 110/150 for Pilot race?

ANY FOOL CAN HOLD A TIGER BY THE BALLS, BUT IT TAKES A HERO TO KEEP ON SQUEEZING. And I am that f*cking hero...

lol... i lazy to wash like last time liao.. its still shiny... but not like last time... hahaha...

i added number on the front and sides of the bike also, on the number boards and changed the end can lor...

other than those, nothing else cosmetic... lol... i think...

i got a monster which i seldom ride... cos...

1. i don like the posture (not for day to day) its not as exciting... lol...

2. my dad uses it most of the time

lol...

i'm upgrading most prob when i get my class 2... which is next month! went looking for 916/996/998/748 yesterday... sigh... cannot find any...

my dad is getting a harley too!!! he might wanna sell off the monster...

i might wanna sell off my mito when i get my duc... MIGHT... but chances are i will keep it... for transport purposes... hehehe... my office is like 34KM away from home... i will rather drive than to ride a 1000cc v-twin bike to and fro everyday... lol...

i'm also thinking of getting a car soon... so.. yah... if i do, then bye bye ducati... lol... see how bah...

meet up soon yeah?

From then to now...

Sols not getting the 1048? Hahas! Dont understand y the styling for it sucks big time. Maybe its just me but still it def dont look as good as the Jap's.

Get the 748! 916 if u dont mind its age.

Saw in garage sales a guy with the nick orangje something like that selling his sexy matt black 748 for $25k. Milleage is only 2k.

Getting 2nd hand more worth it if e condition is gd since a new bike depreciation rate is way too scary.

IMO i feel u should get that 748 so that around 1 yr later when u get a car u can sell me e 748. Hahas.

For me i will get a Haya b4 Duc since i already got a very gd track bike.

Vik, BT39 has no sizes above 120? Its for Jap made bikes SP KR TZM n such. I used to ride SP man.

Cheapest will always be LAB n HKL.

Just stick to GRP's for ur Aprilla and GPR's/Pilot Power for ur RVF. Tested, proven n highly recommended formula in Europe and US. Period.

And if u paranoid n willing to accomodate 160 for ur rear can go for Racetecs.

If u like can try the M3s cos they are really as good as advertised, somemore with the lucky draw thing going on with first price of a Spark135 n 2nd a GPR exhaust for dono what bike.

Anyway there's a rumour in overseas that Michelin may come out with new tyres soon just to rival the M3.

Why four strokes when all you need is two?

If I'm not wrong Wacko (RS250) got his Power Race for $300 from speedway.

120/70 f and 150/60 rear, year of manufacture is '06.

Can get M3's for $300 from JR too, but dont have 140 for the rear.

So far only the GPR-70's replacement tyres - the GPR Alpha-10 has size 140 for the rear, but Racewerks hasnt brought them in yet.

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Do or do not; there is no 'try'.
