dstapp, 50bhp is totally wrong.

Mito7 is 34bhp n Mito6 33bhp, both at e crank. U can only get these figures if it is a blueprinted Mito straight out from e factory where all e parts still match perfectly.

What really determines e top speed is e bhp at e wheel (rear), which is abt 22-24bhp. The bhp at e wheel for a Mito which has done more than 40k km usually drops to around 16-18bhp.

Hey thanks bro where did you get this info from care to share..

ok so 22 - 24bhp at wheel is this restricted or does bikes in singapore come in de-restricted ?? further to that a 40K mito needs a overhul to get the bike back up to speed??

Precisely, well this info is like general knowledge, not only mitos, all vehicles makes about 20% less bhp at the wheel while the bhp figures at the crank is always used as a marketing tool.

For example a WRX STI makes about 300bhp at the crank, but maybe abt 260bhp on the wheels nia. If Subaru market their cars as 260bhp only pple wun buy haha.

Engine condition worsens over prolonged usage, dun expect a 10yr old 7 speed Mito to perform like its heyday 10 yrs ago when an almost 34bhp at the crank is unleashed.

If you guys do visit him, send my regards. He'll probably remember me as the Oxydo Mito that met up with him at Bedok Block 85 during one of the East Siders Makan Sessions.

Ok then I got my facts wrong. I only heard it from quicksilver. But why do you need to pick a fight with me? You got issues with me?

The way you post is annoying.. that is my issue.. And it irritates me that people who dont know my friend or how is his condition freely giving their own opinion..

So you heard from quikslver.. Right, was he there???

I was with him, i saw it happen, i was with him all the way to the hospital, i brought his bike back to FM. If you dont have the facts, then dont state your fiction.. Simple..

Now, dont waste my time, and try to be abit more polite to people like Xeno who are truly concerned..

err guys. is it possible to use YPVS on mito? and what's high profile tires?

YPVS is just a fancy name given to e Yamaha 2 strokes bike valve sys. If u like u can call ur Mito one as MPVS.

Profile is e 2nd set of no. on ur tyres. For eg ur rear should b 140/60 or 150/60. The 60 is e profile. It measures e ht of ur tyre side wall. Smaller profile, esp on e front, means u r able to corner easier.

Why four strokes when all you need is two?
