hi guy , can ask y all the mito got hard starting ??? n must ramp high the rpm when moving off???? huh!!!!

 

Maybe because cold day? Anyways, i think it depends on bike to bike basis. My previous mito had to use the choke to start most of the time, whereas for my current mito, i can start easily by pressing the start button, no nid choke or anything at all.

Move off tat time my rpm is at 3k, have to slip clutch while moving off lo... I think all 2 stroke bikes is like this? Something to do with gearing maybe? Anyways, it just takes some getting used to.

get a mito then.. my starter is gone and my muscles is growing day by day. second hand first hand, any hand, as long as my muscles dont grow any bigger will do.. anybody knows where can i get my hands on them can sms or call my hotline number 81329714??.. anyway, why most mito got gearing problem.. my friend got it first hand and he got neautral prob. but when i try yanwei's bike, the problem not there.. witchblade care to tell me where you get your race fairing??

another thing, there's a 2nd mito available at EXCEL CYCLES at ubi shun li industrial park, FY6789R selling at $7000. what do u all think of the price?

starter motor can go First Motor get mahs.. i got my previous starter motor from there also.. 2nd hand one =)

The number plate is nice... hahaha... Remember seeing some post about excel, something about chop carrot head, but well.. i could be wrong. maybe its a reasonable price. BTW, is FY considered 2 yrs old or could it be even older?

 

I've got a fren who's under 21, was quoted 800+ for his ins. also just passed. mitsui. also, ntuc insurance can pay by installments fyi.

i called mitsui directly and they quote 1112. sian. and realise i need to change my starter oso. excel quote 200. issit ok? any one has any idea where can get 2nd hand iu unit?

and one more thing, if lets say i stop at a traffic light junction in gear 1, is it a common issues with all mito that it's very hard to kick to neutral gear and must kick to neutral before we come to a stop?

helpful ppl here, i have prob startin the bike ever since i got in from the shop this morning. and when at first gear, i gotta keep on throttling hard if not it will stall. its like wen traffic jam, im the only bike there vvrooom vvvrrom maintanin my bike at high rpm (at least 3-4k)

all mito is like that. dont believe go buy yourself a new mito and try it yourself.. i got few fbb and fba friends riding mito all same problem.. it also depends on what gear oil you use.. some people fed with engine oil i dont know why..

go back to the shop and ask them why.. all second hand bikes from shop should have at least one month warranty.. if not you might as well buy from forum far cheaper..

jason_lim: For the IU, you can try to call up Sin Boon Motor at sembawang see if they have. For the neutral gear, either when you rolling to a stop you rev your bike a bit and kick to neutral from 2nd or 1st gear. Or change gear oil. i'm using maxima 75w90 and gear change is smooth.

 

ilovebikes: maybe you can wash the carb, do your jetting, check the float and needle. at traffic light, maybe you dun have to rev so high, just a bit at 1.5 to 2k enuff le.

 

Mito may be quite problematic but it just depends on the service cycle. sometimes its just our luck that when we take over, all the wear n tear parts start to spoil. But when it's working fine, it's really a nice learner bike to ride.
