Bros..any1 of you neva buangz b4 after several years of riding?? For me, i onli know of 1 other biker fren other den myself who's neva buanged b4..n tats probably becuz we're still P-plate...

 

lets run a poll n see how many buanged b4 and how many are still safe..? Guyz, lets celebrate safe riding!!

Hmm... come to think of it, when i first got my 2b bike, I think 3rd day bang into the van infront liao... due to poor judgement and follow too closely to the van. Luckily it was at low speed.

Just did it yesterday. Was in a rush in the morning, zipping along the neighbourhood. Green right turn arrow, so I pick up to get pass the junction. Front car for no reason jams the brakes, then taxi behind it jams the brakes, then I jam the brakes. A little skidding, and gently hit the rear bumper of the taxi. Lucky no damages, the driver come out see see then go back in liao.

is it? riding , fall and injure

 

or like traffic light, bang a car slightly (no damage to both side), or the occasion at parking lot, while reversing too quickly, lose control and fall.. with the bike? *heheh*

then there is a U-turn at the end of ave 4, i was going at about 40 in 5th gear,

badly sprained!.. took me 3 weeks to recover properly..

 

so thats was one hell opf a BAD buang....

 

so i have buang-ed lah before getting me License *gulp*

haha.. actually im not so concerned abt myself when i buang, i rather break arms n legs or bua my face but i dun wan my bike to be spoilt...

 

just like ah butt, if lets say i buang at a corner, i will surely stay below my bike to protect it.. haha

Self-skidded while cornering counted ?

 

well... i also kinda self-skid... was playing corner at the bke to bukit panjang bend... was going at 140km/h... normally even b4 i bua ka-ta my tyres have been used up already... dunno y that day stupid feel like dragging my ka-ta out of the corner... next thing i noe is my bike sliding away from me... i saw my head going towards the pole that supports the metal barriers so i tilted my head to the left and my shoulder hit the wooden pole... after that i landed in the drain and found my right hand dislocated... when i went to the hospital all the doctors said was that my shoulderblade was smashed into 7 pieces and that no screws could attach it back coz the pieces were too small...

 

now the pieces has fused together into a ball and i can never regain the full use of my right arm again...

 

to all those who wants to "play" on singapore's rd pls learn from my case that if u wanna play pls go down to the track... its better to skid on the side than ram straight into the curb or any barriers...

 

its just too bad i learnt the hard way and i dun want u guys to suffer the same fate as me...

 

being handicapped is one thing... the worst is never being able to ride again... i just thank god that i'm still able to ride a wave but i'll never be able to get a license higher than 2a anymore due to my injuries...

 

u guys may say i'm stupid and i totally agree wif ya... i just hope that u guys understand the pain that i'm going thru... even my closest of friends don't... its been quite a hard time for me to accept this fact that i've become handicapped... so i just want all of u to treat singapore's rds as a means of getting from pt a-b... dun try to act racer here coz the only pity u'll get is from urself...
