Hi hi...PlasticBlackSpecs...Thanks for the redirection but it shouls also be nice to make known that it'll be transfered over to the Trip & Thrills section before it's transfered...But in anyways, cheers....I'm back in commission after a whole week out of action and thanks for everyone for their well wishes and prayers, i'm practically back from SPACE and there'll be more to come from yours truly....Again a big thank you to PlasticBlackSpecs for the redirection and an even bigger SALUTE to all of the Desaru Ride Participants, Officials, Support Vehicles and MCA, for the humongous support for the event....Can't wait for the the magazine, hehehehe.....

The Trips and Outings section of the forum is the correct place for the thread - particularly when you open the ride up for all to join.

 

Ayone organising a a trip or an outing should use this section of the forum unless they are limiting the outing to a particular type or class of ride (or rider). Also people looking to join a ride or outing would go to this section of the forum to see if there is anything going on that may interest them.

 

It make good sence, whoever moved it did you a favour. It is good also that this section of the forum has now been made more aware to the thread readers.

Exactly. I know it was originated to be just a ride for SBF CRuisers, but since it has became open to other threads, communities and riders and not limited to just SBF Cruisers thus I'm guessing it's why it's been moved to the general thread of "Trip Trills".

 

If that added to anymore confusion, if you look at other threads, there are other "outings" that are limited to just their own community or sub community. Like example, scrambler enduro thread, harley riders gathers thread, super 4 thread etc.

Hi hi...Hagar...Thanks for taking the time for the explanation...It's very much appreciated...What do you mean by doing ME a favor by moving the thread without informing the people who are involved in the thread first and making it complicated for them to look for the thread to contribute the details of the ride and also pictures of the ride????...

 

In making a perfectly good sense of organization and being an organizer for anything, communication and direction is most important of them all, i do hope you have a good sense to agree, won't you???...So, if making complications and causing a distress in trying to figure out where to find the thread is a so-called "MAKING A GOOD SENSE", i do have to wonder about the organization skills that we are talking about here....Cheers sir...

Hi hi...PlasticBlackSpecs...I do have to correct you here, it wasn't originated for SBF Cruisers, it's an idea by some of the SBF cruiser riders, who thought of having a leisure ride and it escalated to a huge turnout and response from other range of bike models but do bear in mind they are also mainly from the SBF....And it's not wise to conjure the issue of OTHER THREADS, COMMUNITIES AND RIDERS, because it seems that you are trying to imply that groupings are the in-thing here in SBF????.....

 

Maybe, we should sit down and from there, like for example one of the SBF Moderators who did take the trouble to sit down with me, may understand the exact reason why it was thought of as a very HEALTHY and INNOVATIVE idea for the ride and MY main intentions of conveying my experiences in riding in many parts of the world to our Singapore Biking industry...I'll be more than happy to make time for an interesting and intellectual discussion with you with regards to the above mentioned....Cheers my good fellow...

 

The question here is shouldn't the forum peps be well-informed that the thread will be transfered to the Trip & Thrills section in advance before transferring it???....And i do believe that it should be an answer that comes from the Moderator itself, would you agree my good fellow????....

Hi bros here.....Do you u guys know that I had previously post this same thread in regards to the same question. It was deleted the next day...funny though.....I am curious for some explanation. Secondly, if the the thread were to be transfer for so called-logical reason therefore why had it not being transfer earlier? I mean why does it take so long till then.

Hey armofpeace chill. I've got no beef with you pal. It seems like your looking for an argument - I'm not. I think you have done well to organise the ride and get members of the biking community together, you have my support on this. I just stated that I beleive that the trips and outings section is where the thread belongs and where people should look for outings that may be of interest to them. It seems my reply has got you all worked up and distressed for this I apologise but it's a forum and open for peoples opinions.

 

An idea for next time could be to have a main thread in the trips and outings section and post a thread in the respective bike communities pointing to a new ride being planned and to go to the trips and outings section to check it out, you could even poat the url to make it easier and less distressing. (just an idea so don't go biting my head off ok)

 

Get out and enjoy the ride (and riders), thats what it's all about at the end of the day.

Chill la dude. Not trying to find fault with you or anything. I never doubt your intentions for the rides or riders. I'm just saying, my theory was, it originated from within the SBF Cruisers thread, and since it was open to more than within SBF Cruiser, it hence was moved. Very simple. No underlying meaning. I'm just calling it as I see it.

 

Also everyone knows that there are lots of cliques in SBF itself. Standard one. Everywhere you go sure have. No need to imply as it's already stated in the threads itself. Not saying it's a good or bad thing, just saying it happens. Also again, not saying these groups are exclusive. Take for example, lonely riders or tok kok platoon fall in etc, it's all just thread groupings that whoever happens to be there just, yak. But still a group nonetheless.

 

Wanna have a sit down no prob, I'm usually found on Fridays at Rangoon Road area. Other days super unpredictable. Very the last min kind. But dun expect any kind of intellectual talks. Like I mentioned before, I tok kok alot, so prepare cigs, teh terik and a belly full of laughs. heee. Oh lots of food please.

 

But yea, I do agree, the Mod that move the thread should have said something. Strange thing was it was moved on the day of the ride itself. Curiouser and curiouser.

Hi hi...PlasticBlackSpecs...I do believe that you get my correspondence wrong again my good fellow...There are no argumentations as i've mentioned to Hagar but it's just questions and stating the facts over fiction if you know what i mean...I've mentioned that i do appreciate your directions for any future post with regards to Rides or Events, so does that sound like i'm stating an arguement???...

 

Anyway...Your invitattion is accepted and I DO LOVE TO 'TALK ****' especially over coffee or tea and of course loads of cigarettes...I'll be there my good sir after i've recovered from my injuries that is, i do have to take out the wires in my toes first la, heheheh....Cheers my good fellow....
